LeapFrog sent us the Tag Junior book pal to review. It is such a fun product. Bug loves books but lately he has been getting frustrated when I try to read them to him, (independent phase). With the Tag Junior he can read the books himself (or have them read to him that is). It requires 2 AAA batteries (not included) so make sure you have them handy Christmas morning. It comes with a sampler book called if I were…that has 16 activities and over 70 audio responses. It is pre loaded onto the Tag Junior so your child can try it out right away. LeapFrog also sent us an extra Curious George book to go along with the Tag Junior. Bug was so excited! It was great to see how fast he caught on on how to use it. You simply press it to a page and it read the page. You can even set it so the Tag Junior will greet your child by name. I haven’t had time to try that feature out yet but it sounds very fun! You can download the audio for up to 5 books at a time (USB cord included). I will be buying him the Cars book and Sesame Street book (since he is really into them as well), they will be perfect stocking stuffers to go along with his Tag Junior! This is a wonderful product and I recommend it to any parent or Grandparent buying for a 2-4 year old!

Meet Winter the Dolphin Everyone!
“Winter is a dolphin. Just over two years ago, when she was a baby, she was rescued from a crab trap, her tail seriously damaged. Winter was rushed to Clearwater Marine Aquarium, a 
marine animal hospital. It wasn’t clear that she would survive. She did, but eventually the tail fell off and Winter compensated by swimming more like a fish than a dolphin which was seriously damaging her spine. But for the last year, Winter has been learning how to use a prosthetic tail. The idea came from a company that makes prosthetics for humans. It was very challenging but Winter is thriving and using her new tail with great command. The word has gotten out about Winter. Visitors are traveling in droves to Clearwater to visit Winter who has become an inspiration to adults and children alike, especially to children who are amputees themselves. The tale doesn’t end there. I was sent the 2009 Hess Race Car and Racer to review. First off I loved how it came fully gift wrapped in green paper (perfect for Christmas!!). Bug loved that he had a present to open. We took the car out of the box and at first I was like “Where is the small racer?”, then I realized it fits inside the hood of the large Race Car! Talk about fun! You just press down on the hood and it pops open, closes the same way. Then I pushed one of the 4 buttons and made an engine roaring sound and bug said (with a ton of enthusiasm) “Vroom Vroom Vroom!”. Needless to say he loves his Toy Race Cars. This is a perfect gift for any age, whether it is a 2 year old like bug or a Hess Toy Truck Collector!

A greedy king has stolen all the crystals that give color to the world, and now all the hues in the land are fading. It’s up to Dora and Boots to find the crystals and give color back to the world. Based on the new Nick Jr. TV special, Dora Saves the Crystal Kingdom.

Twist the Wii remote to help Dora turn a key for a treasure chest, or turn it around like a crank to raise a flag on a pole. These sections are similar to the TV show where Dora will ask kids to get up and move around to imitate an action on-screen. There are also some light color and shape matching sections, too.
One thing I really love about this game is all of the cool effects! As you collect the crystals, color is added to the faded world as you go past. As a parent you can also join in with a second remote and help your little one achieve their goal! This is such a great preschooler game! And the game has some learning found in the solve-the-problem games with Backpack. Kids will also help Dora identify shapes, colors, and sizes. I really like all of the different worlds it has such as butterfly cave, cloud castle and dragon land! Your child can also never loose! 
If Dora gets stuck in the mud or some trees it just slows her down.

American Educational Products sent me their See-Saw to review. I was really excited because when I was growing up we had loved to “ teeter totter ” and had one at our local park. Since those days are gone (see-saws have been outlawed) I love that my son can still enjoy the fun with his new see-saw!
So putting it together took a long time (about an hour and a half) and I wouldn’t recommend doing it by yourself. I had my brother in-law help me put it together and I can’t imagine how hard it would be to do on your own since you have to hold one bolt still on one side while tightening one on the other side. So as long as you have help it isn’t hard it is just a long process. Worth every second once little bug and my nephew hopped on and had a blast! They love how it can spin while they go up and down. And if you don’t want it spin you can put a bolt in and no more spinning. Then my 2 nephews got on the See-Saw and they can get it spinning so fast! Later on I was cooking in the kitchen and I could hear a ton of laughing and giggling. They all love it! They play on it everyday and have so much fun. It is recommended for ages 3-8 and the total weight limit is 150 lbs.

Holey Donuts sent me 3 boxes of their Cinnamon Bun Middles to review. I was excited when they arrived because who wouldn’t want a treat that only has 100 Calories? But first they had to pass the taste test. I made a cinnamon bun middle for everyone in the family. They are easy to prepare you can let them thaw naturally at room temperature, or like me break apart with a butter knife and pop them in the microwave for about 15 seconds (dependant upon your microwave) and voila you have a warm Cinnamon Bun Middle. They passed with flying colors! My whole family loved them, they are moist and delicious. My family has been gobbling them down ever since. And they actually taste like they are freshly made! If someone handed one to me I would never be able to tell they had been frozen at all. And the low fat thing, I never would have guessed it. Most low fat food items don’t taste as good, these taste like regular Cinnamon Buns, no trace of low fat taste! I will definitely be ordering more as these will be joining us on our trip out of town for Christmas. They will make a perfect Christmas morning breakfast food. quest to find a diaper bag that inspired us. Neither of us wanted to carry mom’s flowery diaper bag, but our search for something masculine and functional was futile. So, as dads are known to do, we decided to fix the problem and set out to design some dad gear.
We spent a year and a half developing ideas and countless prototypes. From the 
very beginning, we knew we wanted our gear to be synonymous with quality, style, and superior function. And, as we became more experienced fathers, we leveraged our knowledge to design helpful features that would make life easier for other parents out there. I was so excited to receive one of the Dad Backpacks from DadGear. It took me awhile to figure out which one to pick because they are
all so great! I ended up choosing a black one with a gray stripe-not too girly right?
I started reading up about the products and think it is so awesome that these are Daddy Diaper bags made by Dads! The thought came to 2 Dads over a big plate of Nachos…such a guy thing by the way.
I love that not only do they sell backpacks of all different colors, patterns etc. BUT they also sell Satchels, Messenger Bags, Courier Bags and more! They also sell Vests and Jackets that are basically wearable Diaper Bags.

Tara one of my fellow Bragging Mommies, makes THE cutest Christmas ornaments! I received Leah’s 
handprint on one side and footprint on the other and our profiles. They turned out so dang cute! I put them on our tree right away and it was the final touch I was looking for. Tara made them really fast and sent me a picture beforehand just so I could make sure that’s what I wanted.

Everyone knows that baby bath tubs are important. Keeping your newborn and infant clean should be as effortless as possible. But how clean is your baby getting if they are bathing in dirty water? Seems a little counter-productive. Enter the 4Moms Cleanwater Infant Tub. The perfect solution to baby baths! I really like this bathtub. Harrison HATED taking baths when he was a newborn, and I really wish I had had this tub! I was always worried about it being too hot, so I always aired on the side of cold, and Harrison was always chilly. But with the Cleanwater Tub, there is a built in thermometer so I’ll always know the perfect temp. The tub fit perfectly in our double basin sink and felt very sturdy. You run the water into the reservoir, which is where the temperature is taken. It then flows into the “Clean water reservoir” which 
is where you can dip the rinse cup for clean water. From there it flows into the tub part. I like that it comes with the rinse cup- one less step for you. And it locks in place on either side of the tub, so less spills! Both the reservoir and the tub have plugs which makes for easy draining. At first sight the tub seems a little complicated- I was stalling on trying it out because I thought it was going to be kind of a process. But it was quick and simple, and I can’t wait to use it with Baby Ruben! (He’ll be here any day now! Yay!)

I was sent the Navy Blue Chase Squeak-A-Boo shoes to review for Little Bug. They are really cute! He loves how they squeak and likes dancing around with them on. He is at an age where he likes to run off when we go to the store. With his Squeak-A-Boo shoes on I know when he tries to run off and I can hear where he went. So that is a huge plus. I received the The Decateur squeaky shoe and they are so adorable! I only had one problem… my son isn’t walking yet. =) So I can’t tell you about how he walked in them, but I can tell you that they are super cute, and very well made. The material is high quality and I can tell that these shoes will last a long time which is good for me because I have another boy on the way. The soles are thick and sturdy, and of course, they squeak! My son still loved putting them on his feet and hearing them squeak (when we helped him).
