{Brag Worthy Christmas!} Billy Fun Wheels Review

Thanks to Chicco I was sent the Billy Fun Wheels remote control Truck. Talk about a ton of fun for bug! This is his first remote control car and I really couldn’t have chosen a better one. This is made for ages 2 and up so it is just right for his age. The controls are really easy. The steering wheel remote has an arrow pointing up you hold to go forward and an arrow pointing down you hold to go backwards. Then (this is my favorite part) you turn the steering wheel remote left or right and it turns the wheels! Such a cute and good idea. It requires Bug loves the flashing lights (red and white), and the sounds it makes: Engine Roars when you drive forwards, when backing up it makes a Beeping Noise (like big trucks do), and Press the center button on the steering wheel and it honks. When we gave him Billy Fun Wheels for the first time he had a perma-grin and just kept giggling with excitement. It is so great when you find a toy that can get that kind of response! He has been enjoying it ever since. I definitely recommend this toy for all toddlers!

We all know pregnant women have trouble sleeping towards the end of the pregnancy. But I don’t, thanks to the Sleep Number Maternity Pillow! Honestly, I sleep like a “baby” (Terrible expression. We all know how babies sleep), even in my 9th month. (My only sleeping problem is my 11-month-old’s idea of morning being 5 AM.) Last pregnancy I used another maternity pillow, which I did like, but it was way too big and bulky. My husband and I had a deal going that I used it every other night, because it left him with almost no room in the bed. I received the Sleep Number Maternity Pillow as a sample for review from Select Comfort. The Sleep Number maternity pillow is the perfect size and supports where you need it, without added bulk. Hubby has enough room, and everyone wins with a good night sleep. I HATE sleeping on my side, especially after doing it for practically 2 years straight. But at least it’s bearable with a good maternity pillow. So it works like this: It has 2 pillows in one. They connect via velcro in the middle, which is awesome because it can be adjusted and will fit all sizes of women and stages of pregnancy. So you get it to fit how you like it, and then you are supported both in front and back. The only downfall to the velcro is any excess is itchy, but I don’t notice it that much. It folds up great, and has handles for travel, because trust me, once you use this pillow you will want to bring it with you wherever you go! Who knew Sleep Number makes more than mattress’?

{Brag Worthy Christmas!} Oompa Toys Sounds Like Fun Shake, Rattle, & Drum Set Review and Giveaway [CLOSED]

I was so excited when Oompa Toys contacted me to review one of their toys. I chose the Sounds Like Fun Shake, Rattle, & Drum Set for bug. He cannot get enough of it! He loves his new musical instrument toys. I really like it because (other than the tamborine stick) the instruments aren’t extremely loud (considering his alternative is banging on our kitchen pots with spoons, yikes!), even the drum is just loud enough for him to love it, but not to loud that I get a headache from it. Perfect And he can play the drum with his hands as well as the drum sticks. It comes with the Drum (which has a carrying handle on the bottom so you can turn it over and store all the smaller instruments inside), 2 drum sticks, 2 maracas, a tambourine stick, and a castanet. I also like that it is a great learning tool. teach your child music, counting, rhythm, and hand and eye coordination. Not to mention all the fun your child will have playing with the instruments!

{Brag Worthy Christmas!} Playskool Kota and Pals DinoRoars Stompers and Hatchlings Review

I received the Stompers Triceratops to review. And let me tell you this is so much fun for bug! The Triceratops moves his head and mouth, makes roaring noises, and the best part of all…It moves it’s legs and makes Stomping noises. This is bug’s first Toy Dinosaur and so he was very excited when I gave it to him. His eyes lit up when he pressed on it’s back and it started stomping and roaring. The look on his face was priceless. Since then he has had many hours of playing with his Stompers Dino and I know there are so many more hours to come. Such a great toy!

Kota and Pals DinoRoars Triceratops Stompers:

Soft and snuggly, this baby dinosaur figure comes to “life” when you pet his back to wake him up. He roars and moves his head and mouth and even stomps around like a real dino! And even though he looks tough, his soft “skin” will have you cuddling up with him all day long. I was sent the Snuggly Puppy Pillow Pet to review. I chose the Puppy because bug loves all things puppy. When it arrived I couldn’t get over how adorable it is. And it is sooooo soft! Bug just loves it so much! He carries it around as a stuffed animal and loves to cuddle with it. And then he can easily undo the velcro strap on the bottom and he likes to lay on it as a pillow in front of the TV while he watches his favorite movie Cars, or as he says it “Dars”. It is really cute because every once and awhile he will lift his head up look back at his Pillow Pet and say “puppy!” because he just can’t get over how cool it is that his puppy stuffed animal magically turns into a pillow! LOL! This is a really cute children’s item. Finally stuffed animals that have a function! (instead of just taking up space).

I received the yellow duck pillow pet for review. The minute my youngest daughter saw it she was in love. The pillow pet is so so soft and so adorable. I love that it folds in half and secures with velcro. It makes a cute addition to my daughters bed decor. We have used our pillow pet at home in many ways as well as in the car. It is a perfect size for napping in the car. Another great thing is it is machine washable. I love that. I don’t have to take anything off to wash it. Just throw it in. I think I will be ordering 3 more of these cute pillow pets for my other 3 kids. This pillow has sure been a real hit in my house. I can’t wait to show our pillow pet to my neices and nephew. Rileyroos Review

Rileyroos has such cute shoes for babies and toddlers! I received the Mary Jane shoes in tweed for Leah, so so cute! I loved these shoes the moment I put them on Leah’s feet. You see I have THE hardest time finding shoes that fit her feet! Somehow my little sweet pea received the curse of my feet! She has little chubby feet, so a shoe will fit her length wise they don’t always fit her width wise. The Rileyroos for baby and toddler shoes were just what she needed! Leah is not quite 18 months and I ordered the 12-18 month shoe hoping they wouldn’t be too small and they weren’t! These shoes were actually a little bit big so she has room to grow! The first time I put them on her feet, she had a little trouble walking because the shoes have a little flexible leather sole with rubber padding to protect her feet, but she soon got the hang of them!

The creators Kim and Brian after much frustration with trying to find the right shoe said “We created Rileyroos

{Brag Worthy Christmas!} PLAYMOBIL Advent Calendar Review

I received the PLAYMOBIL Pirates Advent Calendar to review. And since my nephew just moved in with us he was the perfect person to help me review it. He has opened 4 days so far and is loving it! The calendar is a big poster that can be hung on the wall. You have to put the boxes together (just fold the top and bottom) and put all the items inside, so you will want to secretly do this when your kiddos aren’t around. But it comes with a instruction booklet that tells you what items go in each box. It also comes with a Island Backdrop that he can place the figures and toys on once he opens them each day. Such a fun way to count down to Christmas! And it is a hit with my nephew. (Contains a lot of very small parts, Ages 3+) Pirates

♥ I received ID Me Labels for my kids and I to use and I love them. I can’t tell you how helpful they are in my daughters pre-school. With my second baby on the way, I know my time is going to be very precious. Feeding my infant son is going to be a major priority, and a huge time consumer. But this time around I have Harrison to take care of. What happens when I need to do something while I (or more likely my husband) am bottle feeding Ruben? A bottle holder! They are a great way to give Mom (and Dad) an extra hand while still holding & feeding baby. Research shows that babies benefit from being held while being fed. Using the Bottle Snuggler makes that much easier. You have free hand to answer the phone, eat, change the channel, better interact with an older child, or just have two hands to snuggle and pay more attention to you r baby! You can even carry baby around without interrupting their feeding. Bottle Snugglers have 2 parts: a stuffed animal “prop”, and the scrunchi bottle holder, which detaches to make putting the bottle in easier. Then you velcro it to the animal, and baby starts feeding! The velcro is great because you can adjust it to comfortably fit where baby needs it. The animals are really soft, and it seems like it’s great quality. They are machine washable, which is great for anything used for feeding. Harrison enjoyed using the Bottle Snugglers, but I’m really looking forward to trying it out with Ruben! I think this is a great product for busy Moms and Dads!

{Brag Worthy Christmas!} Build-A-Bear Holly and Hal Moose Review

I was so lucky to receive the winter adventure Holly and Hal Moose stuffed animals from Build-A-Bear. They are so adorable! I can’t get over it! I am going to be giving these to my nephew for Christmas and I know he is going to be so excited! I can’t wait to see the look on his face. I also received the Holly and Hal Moose our Uplifting Christmas Adventure Book to go along with the Moose. It is really cute and ties the gift together perfectly. But my favorite thing of all is when you press Hal’s Moose’s hand the bulbs on his antlers light up! So Fun!!

I was so excited when Walkabye wanted me to Review their Walkabye Terrani Stroller. They sent me the complete Terrani Package, that comes with a bassinet as well as a toddler seat. The bassinet is appropriate for ages 0-6 months, and the toddler seat is for ages 6 months to 4 years.

When it arrived at my door I was so excited! Putting it together was really simple. The Frame comes already assembled, so all you have to do is put on the wheels, they snap easily into place. And then put on either the bassinet or toddler seat. I tried both and I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was because I was thinking it was going to be pretty complex. It folds down nicely as well, you do have to take the front wheels off to fold it. At first I was like “What, you have to take the wheels off? That is going to be a pain.” But then I realized you simply push on each side of the wheel and it comes off super easy. Then I set them in the lower basket and fold it. That way it is all in one piece, and when it is time to open it you just open and grab the wheels out. You don’t have to push any buttons to put them on they just simply snap into place. Easy Peasy!

I love the bassinet! It has a padded mattress and is so soft for your baby to lay in, and it is so nice that small babies can sleep while you are out and about. It will be perfect to have once my next baby comes and I take bug to the park and baby #2 will be able to sleep away in complete comfort.

Once I had the toddler seat on bug couldn’t wait to get in (He had been watching the whole process of Bassinet and then switching to toddler seat and could hardly wait any longer). The toddler seat easily reclines to 3 different positions with zippers. The seat belt snaps easily on and off, that is a huge plus for me because our previous (doesn’t even compare in quality) stroller had a seatbelt that was really hard to unbuckle. So I really like that. There is also a strap that snaps over the bar to provide extra safety so your child won’t slip out. Another great feature is that the Handle adjusts to 5 different levels. Their is even a really low setting and bug loves to push the stroller around using that setting. (Check out all of my other fav. features in the Brag Worthy section below.)

All of the features of the Terrani are great, but the best part of all is how easy it is to push this stroller! You can literally use one hand and turn wherever you want. It’s effortless. Also, it is such a smooth ride for bug. Even on the bumpiest surfaces he sits comfortably unaware that all the other children in their strollers are bouncing uncomfortably up and down on the rough terrain. Your baby will be able to stay asleep no matter what terrain you are on. Which is so nice because we all know that when a baby is asleep, we want them to stay asleep!

I was thrilled to receive the OK to Wake! Clock to review. Bug hasn’t learned how to climb out of his crib yet but I know it is coming very soon. Just today when I went in after nap time to get him out he had one of his feet up on the top of the railing and he was ready to go for it. But now I don’t have to panic when he does learn how to climb out of his crib. I have the OK to Wake! Clock to teach him when he needs to be sleeping (and stay in his room) and when it is morning (or the end of Nap time). I love that it comes with both a flower and Alien faceplate so you can use the same product for all your kids, boys or girls. It requires 2 AA Batteries (not included so make sure you have some handy). Programming it is really easy and I love that it has a nap timer as well. It has an Alarm with a snooze button so older kids can get up on time for school. The really cute animations make it fun for kids. I like the soft glow of the night light. But my favorite part of all is that now Parents can get more sleep. And ask anyone who knows me, I love to Sleep! So the more I get the better. This is a MUST HAVE product!

Thanks to the generous people at Play-Doh I received the Play-Doh Burger Builder and let me tell you, it is tons of fun! Bug hadn’t ever played with Play-Doh until this arrived. Mostly because up until now I was worried he would just eat it (and for good reason). We had a great time making burgers and hotdogs with all the fixings. Even French fries and potato chips to go along with them. I must admit that once the “food” was made I had to let bug know that it wasn’t edible even though it did look like food. I think that it is great that we are teaching out kids about technology. They know so much more these days because we allow them to do so much more. It is amazing what a small child will learn if you only give them a chance. Jump Start is a great step in teaching kids about technology and safe ways to use it. I am very happy with their experience on the Jump Start website. I am also glad that they include the parents. Like the parent discussion boards, their blog, Facebook and Twitter page. It not only keeps us updated but allows us to learn as well. Their blog is a really great place for info. Their categories include, Technology & Kids & learning tips. ♥
