I was really excited to be able to review “The Madeline Movie” Lost in Paris. My little girl is SOO in love with Elmo so I was excited to try and divert her attention elsewhere and be able to watch something besides Sesame Street.

I remember Madeline from the books growing up and loved her!

The Madeline Movie: Lost In Paris was Inspired by the beloved classic books that introduced us to a dozen delightful girls who live in an old house in Paris covered with vines, The Madeline Movie: Lost In Paris is full of spirited fun and five “fantastique” new songs. Screen legends Christopher Plummer (The Sound Of Music) and Lauren Bacall (The Big Sleep) co-star in the animated feature.

This movie is great for all ages, it has lots of fun music and is really animated. My little girl couldn’t sit still very long but she loved the Madeline’s Dog Genevieve and the songs!

When her long lost Uncle Henri (Jason Alexander,Seinfeld) unexpectedly visits Miss Clavels Parisian boarding school from Vienna, Madeline is whisked away on promises of the wonderful new life, and family, of which she has always dreamed! But soon Madeline realizes that her new life is not as wonderful as she had hoped, and she must use her own wits and courage to maintain the only real family she has ever known.
