My Experience:

I was sent this fabulous flat iron to review thanks to Flat Iron Experts.

First off, I love that this Flat Iron heats up really fast (we are talking 30 seconds), that is a must for any busy mommy like me. And it even turns a dark red color when it has reached the max temp, which I found to be a very neat feature. I really like how it is lightweight and has a swivel cord, makes using it much easier that cheaper flat irons. I haven’t ever curled my hair with a flat iron before, but I had heard about it. So when this arrived I decided to go for it. I found some great video tutorials on You Tube that showed me how to do it. This flat iron curled my hair beautifully, if you haven’t ever curled your hair with a flat iron you just have to try it. I was so impressed. My hair looked so cute and full, my hubby actually asked if I had a hair piece in, LOL! (I have pretty thin hair). And my hair looks fabulous when straightened with this flat iron as well. I really love how smooth the plates are, it’s really nice. And who doesn’t love having shiny frizz free hair?

Bum Essentials Cloth Diapers Review and Giveaway [CLOSED]

I have tried other cloth diapers before, but none I love as much as Bum Essentials! It’s such a great concept- the diaper shell can be used more than once! Which means less laundry, and that makes everyone happy. And what makes me even more happy? Harrison never had any leaks! Yay! As busy mothers we all know how important it is for diapers not to leak. There are snaps in the front so you can adjust the diaper to fit babies from 8-34 pounds! This will save you big bucks because you won’t have to buy all kinds of diapers in all kinds of sizes. Harrison seemed comfortable and happy in his eco-friendly diaper, and it wasn’t as bulky as I thought it would be. It works like this: there’s a diaper shell, which can be used more than once. Then you snap in the Bum Pad, which comes in two sizes to use separate for different sizes, or together for extra absorbency. And it’s that simple! Washing is really easy- Bum Essentials has great diaper pail liners and cloth diaper bags to hold the soiled diapers, then just throw in the wash! Here’s a few tips of caring for your Bumbino Diaper from the Bum Essentials Blog:

1- ALWAYS Fold back the laundry tabs. This will prevent the daisy chain from coming out of the washer. It may make less work if they are all tied up and one long chain that lifts straight from the washer to the dryer BUT it will damage the tabs over time and it can also pick the diapers.
2-Use the Snaps Carefully- Don’t grab and pull as hard as you can on the material to unsnap the Bum Pads from the micro-fleece. The snaps are there to help stabilize the inserts to make it easy to put on. Micro-fleece is a durable material that does not tear easily but that doesn’t mean you can use brute force and rip the Bum pads straight out of the diaper. Hold as close to the snaps and then unsnap.(this is why there are no snaps in the back of our Bumbino- I really don’t want to get that close to poop) The same is true for the adjustable snaps on the front of the diaper. It is best you hold closely to the snaps when unsnapping. This is good info for any diaper.
3-Detach Bum Pads from Bumbino prior to Washing and Drying- You will have those heavy wet pads pulling on your diaper as it tosses around your washer and dryer. This will become even more of a mess if you haven’t secured the laundry tabs.
4-Bleach and Fabric Softner will breakdown Material overtime- I use bleach on my Hubby’s T-shirts and after a few months they are see thru so Just imagine what it could do to your Fluffy Stash. Fabric softener also eats away the material plus it is usually loaded with perfumes that could irritate your baby.
5-Carefully select your detergent- you want to avoid a lot of stain removing properties and enzymes. Click here for a laundry chart guide.
6-Don’t dry on Scorching Temperatures- When possible line dry. This not only saves your diapers but it saves on energy and there is nothing like a good ole sun bleaching. The sun can naturally bleach your inserts and kill bacteria.

Your Baby Can Read Volume One Review and Giveaway [CLOSED]

Leah has been talking for quite a while now and she says lots of words BUT she can’t read yet! I was so excited to be able to review Your Baby Can read Volume 1 and couldn’t wait to get started.

I was sent the Your Baby Can Read starter kit which includes the DVD, Sliding Word Cards, Workshop CD and Book #1 along with a Parent’s overview. The starter kit is a great way to teach your baby to read and recognize words, phrases etc. It is so easy to use and really fun too!

It doesn’t matter how old your child is, you want to always start with Volume 1 which helps the child and the parent understand how it all works and introduces 22 new words!

I really wish I would have started this earlier, I have always wanted to try it but just never bought it. Leah really liked how interactive the DVD is BUT she is almost 2 and doesn’t have that great of an attention span. BUT she loved watching the babies and doing the actions with them on screen. I love how the DVD interacted with Leah and how much fun the songs are.

This really is an early language development system, your Baby CAN Learn to Read and communicate so much quicker!

They all said they wanted to tell their parents to buy some. As you can see from the pictures, they were very into it and excited about helping in this review. Just a few comments made by the kids were…. Delicious, Tasty, Awesome, Creamy, Smooth, Flavorful, Scrumpcious, Sweet and Incredible. I think that says it all!!! Kids are honest!

Lovin Scoopful was a favorite in my household too and also with my family and friends. I was given enough coupons to share with them. I got comments like… this is so tasty, creamy, delicious, wow and really half the fat. I think we have a new favorite for our household. Generous Kids Book Review

Have you ever met a child that loves to share? That he/she cares so much about another friend that they are always willing to help out and be kind, loving, caring and sharing? I have now! Their names are Genna and Russ and they are the Twin Generous Kids! These cute twins are going to teach your child how to be generous just like them!

I was really excited to receive this book and couldn’t wait to read it. I love reading new books to Leah especially if they teach her a lesson. This book is all about sharing and be kind to others. I love how the book talks about each thing the twins love to do like playing soccer, swimming, biking, skating in winter etc. “But their favorite game, they discovered one day, comes from caring and sharing- A new kind of play!” (excerpt from the Generous Kids Book by Sarah Wilson)

Leah really loved this book and how colorful and fun all of the pages and animals are.

AVATAR Blu-Ray + DVD Combo Pack Review

Did you see AVATAR in theaters? I hope you were lucky enough to experience this amazing movie on the big screen, if you didn’t I have to ask, What rock were you hiding under? LOL. As you know AVATAR is a world-wide phenomenon, and for good reason.

Maybe you saw it, maybe you didn’t (what a shame), either way you are definitely going to want to see it on Blu-Ray! It is absolutely amazing! We were sent a Blu-Ray + DVD combo to review. My family was so thrilled, we watched it the night it arrived. We made a family movie night of it. Complete with our favorite treat Milk Duds and Popcorn. We loved the movie just as much this time (this was our second time watching it). We actually saw it in 3D in theatres so I enjoyed watching it without the 3D effects (they were great don’t get me wrong but I get a little sick after about an hour of 3D movies). My husband and I couldn’t get over how great the picture is on Blu-Ray. It was awesome! This movie is beautiful on it’s own, I love all the gorgeous plants and creatures of Pandora. And the Blu-Ray takes my breath away! I love the extra aspects of the Blu-Ray disc. Like how you can bookmark parts of the movie for easy access to them later, and you can stop the movie, take it out of your player and when you put it back in again it will ask if you want to resume where you left off. That is really cool. And having a regular DVD included with the Blu-Ray is nice because we can take it when we travel and watch it on our Laptop (our Laptop doesn’t have Blu-Ray capabilities). So it is definitely a bonus to have the extra DVD copy.

I received the most adorable personalized bag from Zerbert Baby. I chose the “Claire” design and personalized it with my business name. I love it! The colors are amazing and the quality of the bag is just, well PERFECT! There is not 1 imperfection anywhere. I usually carry a pile of things for notes and such, always dropping them along the way.With my new bag form Zerbert Baby, I have a safe place for my notes and things. It has become my second purse. LOL Secretly, I think my girls are jealous that I kept this review item for myself. It is so cute. I definitely would recommend this bag for anyone. It doesn’t have to be just for baby. I was able to review the cutest carnival print baby bib from Zerbert Baby. I was so excited when I received it in the mail! The bib is a cute print on one side and an ultra-soft minky material on the otherside! I also really like that it doesn’t have a velcro closure, but it snaps instead. Leah is always pulling off her bibs and then it leaves a red mark on the neck BUT this one she can’t pull off unless I help her! There is also a waterproof inner lining that keeps your baby dry all day long. I just love all the choices that Zerbert Baby offers, they make great Baby Shower gifts too! Thanks to Zerbert Baby I now have a new place to buy bibs and other cute things.

I was sent a Burp Cloth set from Zerbert Baby to review. I was very impressed by the quality of the burp cloths and also how adorable they are! Seriously so cute! My sister in law has baby who spits up all the time so I gave them to her so she could put them to the test. They passed with flying colors! She loves them. They make a wonderful baby shower gift for any expecting or new parent. They also sent me an appliqued T-shirt for bug. I told them how much he loves airplanes so they put an appliqued helicopter on it. It is very cute and bug looks adorable in it. One of their appliqued t-shirts would make a perfect birthday gift!

I love a good fabric. Anything that I can customize with a cute fabric for my kids is great! Zerbert Baby does just that! I was sent an adorable baby blanket for my son, and an appliqued t-shirt. The fabric was all high quality and I know they are going to last through both my boys (and multiple washings). The blanket has a super soft minky fabric on one side, and my son loves to sleep and cuddle with it. There are so many baby products and fabrics to choose from, you’ll definitely find what you’re looking for with Zerbert Baby!

Olive Juice Clothing Review

The Perfect Breakfast, Batter Blaster Pancakes and Horizon Organic low-fat Chocolate Milk with DHA & Omega 3 Review and Giveaway (4 winners!) [CLOSED]

One of my favorite things (and my husbands) to eat for Breakfast OR Dinner is Pancakes, Bacon and my husband LOVES Chocolate Milk! One thing I hate about making pancakes is sometimes I don’t have eggs, or milk or one of the other ingredients. So when I heard I was going to get to review Batter Blaster Pancake and Waffle Batter I was so excited!

Batter Blaster isn’t just an ordinary pancake mix where you mix eggs, flour, water etc. This is special,unique and One of a kind (as far as I know). The Batter Blaster is not only Organic BUT it’s a sprayable pancake batter!

Basically all you do is point and shoot! It is designed just like spray cheese or the spray whip cream. I couldn’t wait to try it out and am so glad I did! It was so easy to use and fun too! My husband at first just made plain circle pancakes but then got creative and made a Mickey mouse with his ears and Leah loved it!

I really like that you don’t have to mix a bunch of ingredients together, I also love that the Batter Blaster website has some really fun recipes to try like Pumpkin Pancakes or for the veggie lovers….Veggie Pancakes! This pancake batter is stored in the fridge so you do have to use it up pretty quickly BUT I promise you will because it tastes great!

When we had these yummy pancakes we paired it up with a big glass of Horizon Organic low-fat Chocolate Milk with DHA & Omega 3! I unfortunately didn’t get to try any because I’m lactose intolerant BUT my Husband loved it! He has told me several times how good it is and would buy this chocolate milk again. I think he really liked it because it was low-fat but didn’t taste like it was. This Chocolate milk with DHA and Omega 3 helps support heart, brain and eye health.

This is a great product not only for us adults but for kids also.
