Help Your Tween Have Confidence with Unilever

Infiniti by Conair You Curl Review and Giveaway [CLOSED]

I was so excited to be able to review the Conair You Curl! The very first time I saw it, I knew it was a product I would love! It’s an awesome, high quality ceramic curling iron that doesn’t have the clamp! I know we’ve all tried curling our hair without using the clamp, and it never quite works out how you planned. Luckily, you don’t have to improvise any more. This product creates beautiful curls, and it’s really easy to use. It’s great for a fancy hair-do for a special event, but also great for day-to-day looks. I like that you can pull the hair tighter for smaller curls, or looser for bigger curls. I used this for a Mom’s Night Out, and it turned out FANTASTIC! I will definitely be using the Conair You Curl a lot!

HOW TO USE:

1.Take a 1-inch wide section of hair, starting 2 inches from the scalp.

2.Wind the section of hair around the thicker portion of the barrel toward the cool tip.

3.Hold the end of the hair in place at the cool tip for 5 to 8 seconds depending on hair type, and then release. Because there is no clip, you can easily curl hair without kinks. For tighter, bouncier curls, roll less hair. For loose, free-flowing curls, roll more hair. To “set” the curl, do not comb or brush hair until it cools.

4.Repeat process on additional sections of hair until you achieve the hair style you desire.

EXPERT TIPS:

For tight curls wrap small sections of hair tightly and hold for a few seconds
For looser curls wrap wider sections of hair
For today’s look, don’t wind hair all the way – leave a few inches straight at the roots

I enlisted the help of my friend who has a 4 month old baby boy. Right off we were impressed with how soft and cushy this seat is. Definitely comfortable for baby. Also, you can remove the pommel and put a tray on so baby can have play or snack time (tray is sold separately). A huge plus to this infant seat is the high back which helps promote proper posture. It is never to early to learn how to sit up straight But the best thing about this infant seat, is that it is also a booster seat. Yes, it has a seat belt to go around baby, and a strap to secure it to a chair. Making this bebePOD a product in which you will definitely get more bang for your buck! I absolutely love pampering myself and with a 2 year old I don’t get to do it nearly as often as I would like. But now with Golden Earths natural perfumes and lotions I can be pampered at home!

How to Choose the Right Dining Room Table

A dining room table is most likely to be the focal point of your dining room or dining area, making it the main item of dining furniture. This is the reason that you should give a lot of thought to the kind of dining room table that you get for your dining room. The points to ponder are size, shape, material used, design, whether or not you need a table pad, whether you want to opt for a dining room set or mix and match separates; you need to examine all these points before deciding what is right for you.

Size: The size of the dining table is of course one of the most crucial factors to consider when choosing a dining room table. Too big and it can make the room look small and cluttered; too small and it can look rather lost in a large room. So when you go shopping for a dining table, remember to take along the size, measurements and proportions of the dining area. Ideally, I dining table should be big enough for the size of the room but it should also leave enough room around the sides for easy movement and also leave space for any additional pieces of furniture that you may want to add, such as a hutch or a sideboard or buffet or even a mini bar or drinks trolley.

Shape: The rule of thumb is that if you have a square shaped room, a square dining table may be a good idea and if your dining area is rectangular in shape, the more conventional rectangular one will be a good bet. Also a very good option is the circular or round dining room table. This is the shape to go for when the proportions of your dining area are small and space is a constraint. Round dining tables are great space savers. Also consider the number of chairs that you want for the dining room: if all you need are 4 chairs it does not make sense to choose a rectangular table, because 4 chairs placed at a rectangular table can look pretty odd.

Material: Another thing to consider is what is the dining table to be made of? Glass topped tables are very attractive, wood is durable, wrought iron can also be an option but is not always practical. If you like glass topped tables but are afraid of wear and tear, you can opt for a table pad that will protect the table from heat, humidity, stains, spills and scratches. Custom table pads are available for any kind of dining table.

Design: Your dining room should form a harmonious whole with the rest of the house so if your drawing room is minimalist or starkly modern, so should be your dining room furniture. There are some wonderful contemporary designs available these days, such as pedestal dining tables, modern or contemporary shapes, tables with fold away portions drop leaf table, two tiered dining tables, tables with a rotating center, the options are practically limitless!
With some application of mind, you can opt for dining room furniture that you can live happily with for many years to come!

I was excited to have a chance to review the New Monkey Business Sports E-Z Bat. The E-Z Bat is designed for ages 2-7, So bug being almost 3 is at the perfect age for this. He has been trying to hit a ball with a bat for a while now, but just ends up frustrated when he isn’t able to. When it arrived we took it over to the park to play and had so much fun! Bug loves his new bat, it makes it so easy for little ones to “play baseball”. No more frustration over not being able to hit the ball. With the E-Z bat the ball goes flying everytime! He just slides the foam ball onto the bat and then swings and watches it fly. This is such a cute product for kids. It makes a perfect gift for any child learning baseball! We have had a lot of fun playing with it, and have much more fun to come!

Pediped Children’s Shoes Review

We were sent the Pediped Noah Flex Toddler Boys Leather Fisherman Sandals in Brown to review. They are really adorable sandals, and great quality. I love the Flex shoes technology. You can read all about it here. Comfort is a MUST when it comes to children’s shoes. Bug is picky when it comes to shoes, he won’t wear them if they are uncomfortable at all. His new Pediped Sandals are very comfy so he loves wearing them. And not just that but he looks so handsome with them on! It is important to me that I have shoes that get their money’s worth in wear. Organize It Kids Back Seat Organizer Review

I couldn’t wait to review the Kids Back Seat Organizer from Organize it. We are heading out in October for a road trip to Disneyland and I can’t imagine being in the car for 12 hours with a 2 year old with out it! This is the perfect solution for a screaming child in the backseat.

The Kids Back Seat Organizer has tons of different pockets for wet wipes, napkins, books, juice boxes, treats and if that isn’t enough it also has a great storage inside! The back seat organizer has room enough for everything you can think of all within a child’s reach. It also has a great hard lid so kids can color on it or use it to play with toys. Leah loves having everything within reach and I don’t have to constantly try to pass back toys or food or her juice because it’s all right there.

I also love that it is the perfect size for the backseat and is perfect to put puzzles, crayons, books and treats!

Organize It also has a great selection of home organization products from the kitchen to office to bathroom etc. One of my favorite things was the laundry sorter and the Washer and Dryer helper shelf. My laundry room is always a complete mess, partly because it’s also our storage room since it’s an unfinished basement. So anything to help organize that area is a huge plus in my book.

Organize it also has a great selection of storage solutions for the home. I love the area of kitchen storage, my pantry is somewhat organized but it could always use the extra help. I love the over the door pantry kit which is perfect for canned goods, spices, cooking spray and anything else that messes up the shelves and if you pair that up with the food organizer you are good to go!

The office organizers are great too, if your like me then sometimes that area gets a little messy, I also thought it would be great to use the Desktop organizer for the TV Room. It’s perfect for remotes, tv guides, magazines etc.

I haven’t ever splurged on buying a high quality humidifier. Not that I have one I wish I would have done so years ago. Let me back up. I have the Air-O-Swiss 7135 Digital Warm & Cool Mist Ultrasonic Humidifier and let me tell you, I LOVE this to pieces. My favorite part has to be that it is digital. No more Not Knowing what temperature the water is at, I can see it easily. It is also programmable and has a timer so you can set it to run for a certain amount of time. I am so happy that it is both a Warm & Cool Mist Humidifier, this saves me time and money. Before I had both a warm mist and a cool mist separately (I honestly didn’t even know that a humidifier that did both even existed) so I had to switch them out depending on what I was using them for. I love having one that can do both. We live in Utah, so the air here is extremely dry especially in the winter months when we are running our heat all the time. Bug has dry skin and I have been running this humidifier in his room at night and it is helping a lot, I am so glad I have it with the winter months approaching. Last but definitely not least, this humidifier Pre-heats the water to 176 °F eliminating bacteria and the plastic housing of the demineralization cartridge is treated with silver (Ag⁺ Ionic Silver Technology) inhibiting microbial growth on its surface. Making it safer to use, which is a must have for our precious little ones!
