I always want to make sure my babies are safe when they sleep, and I know that loose blankets are not recommended for infants. However, I hate to think that my baby might be cold while she is sleeping….especially in the winter! I don’t know about you, but I love being covered by a blanket and maybe baby does too. Now that we have a baby deedee SleepNest Lite Sleep Sack, my baby can have the benefit of a blanket, but I don’t need to worry about her safety!

I chose the cute baby sleeping bag in the heather gray bubble gum and it is so cute. I love that it comes in 3 different sizes so that even older babies can benefit from the sleep sack. It is a super soft Jersey fabric and has snaps that make it easy to put on my baby. The over-sized zipper is perfect for a no hassle diaper change (especially during that newborn stage when you are trying to unzip it without opening your eyes because you are so exhausted Winking smile ). I am excited to use the baby deedee SleepNest Lite when the new baby arrives!!

This baby food maker is a pretty amazing product. Not only does it Puree and blend food, but it also steams, warms, & defrosts!! I love it because I don’t have to get several bowls dirty while preparing my child’s food! Also, I can make the baby food to any consistency that my baby prefers. I remember when E was eating baby food and he really disliked the pureed consistency. He liked chunky so I love that the Babycook allows for that! The bowl that comes with the Babycook has a 2 1/2 cup capacity & is BPA free. The fact that it is dishwasher safe (the bowl & basket) is just an added bonus.

The Babycook is small enough that I have no trouble finding a place to store it when I am not using it. That is important for me since our kitchen is pretty packed to begin with. The Beaba Babycook is the perfect way to make your own homemade baby food!

Step2 4-in-1 Rock ‘n Stroll Rider Review and Giveaway [CLOSED]

“Grow-with-me ride on easily transforms into a rocker, toddler cart, walker, and foot-to-floor vehicle.”

We were excited to review The Step2 4-in-1 Rock ‘n Stroll Rider, right off I loved the fact that it has so many uses and really grows with your child.

I have to say putting it together was a little more work than I expected. It comes in all separate pieces (as shown below). It took me about an hour to put it together, so I recommend doing it when your child is sleeping so they don’t get frustrated waiting for you.

Once assembled I liked how cute it is. This is showing it with the rocker. It’s great that your baby can enjoy rocking in it once they are old enough to sit up and rock (suggested age is 1). I like that it has a yellow support bar for added support for your baby. The bar easily moves up and down so you can put your child in and out with little effort.

The rocker platforms easily remove and it is ready to roll. Your child can then stand behind it and use it as a walker or push toy. It has green feet supports they can use as you push them along.

The handle on the back raises up easily for it to become a push toy your child can ride on as you push them along.

Once your child is older you can remove the yellow support bar and it is a ride on foot to floor vehicle.

The steering wheel has a fun toy on it with buttons and knobs. It makes noise and plays cute music. It requires 2 AA batteries, not included, so be sure to have some handy.

The toy is removable so your child can play with it off of the vehicle as well.

This is a great ride on toddler toy with so many uses!

This hip bag truly caters to mom/dad & baby. I received the black leather BaMomzY Bag and it is great. It has all the right pockets & pouches and really simplifies the life of new parents. And with all the other things we have to worry about, it’s nice to know that there is actually a diaper bag that makes things a bit easier. I think the built-in wipe dispenser is ingenious, and I love the added paci pouch that will keep my baby’s binky easy to access at all times. My only wish is that the bag was a little more chic (maybe a different color or pattern) but that is just my personal style. I tend to go for more eccentric accessories Winking smile . You can get the bag in a brown corduroy though and it has a really cute red inner lining that I love!

Let me just start by saying how much I love this gate! The main reason is because it is so easy to use. I have owned other pressure gates that were a huge pain to put up and take down. Not fun. This is especially great since the ease of use protects my walls from getting damaged. I cannot brag more about this gate. It is by far the best pressure mount baby gate I have ever owned.

I just love that Safety 1st doesn’t make me sacrifice my home décor style in order to keep baby safe. Case and point, this gate. It is very nice to look at and matches my home. It looks sleek and elegant which makes this mom happy. The fact that it is a hardware mount safety gate makes it perfect for the top of our stairs so I know that it is secure in place at all times. I love that I can open it with one hand so it’s easy for me to open, but a toddler can’t open it so it’s safe. It feels really sturdy and I feel great knowing my baby is safe from falling down the stairs.

I am very happy with both gates and highly recommend both to parents searching for safety gates.

New Philips Avent Products for Moms and Toddlers ~ Natural Drinking Cup, Toddler Spout Cup & Day/Night Disposable Breast Pads Review

I used a lot of Philips Avent product with Bug when he was a baby and toddler and became a fan of their products. So I was thrilled to try out a few of their new products:

My First Natural Drinking Cup:

“This spoutless, strawless sippy cup allows drinking from all around the rim, just like an adult cup. It encourages your toddler to get used to grown up drinking, without the mess.”

This is my favorite of their new products. It is such a cool cup and perfect for teaching your baby or toddler to drink from a cup. You get everything you would from an adult cup but of course it is spill proof so you don’t have the mess of a regular cup. When your child puts their lips on the cup it pushes the center down allowing the liquid out. Then once their mouth is off of it it seals again. Very neat! I also love that it has a lid so I can take it on the go with us in the diaper bag. I highly recommend this sippy cup, it’s fantastic! It is recommended for ages 12 months+.

Toddler Spout Cup:

I am a big fan of this sippy cup as well. The smaller version for 6 months+ has a soft spout which is great for transitioning your baby from bottle to sippy cup. This cup is available in three sizes (7; 9; 12 oz.). Soft spout is perfect for 6m+ tots while integrated spout is ideal for 12m+ and 18m+.

I love that I am getting the right protection for the time of day (or night) I am wearing these nursing pads especially since I tend to need more protection at night. I really like that the day pads are thin enough that you can’t see them even when I wear a tight shirt. I also like that they are comfortable and breathable. I don’t find myself sweating under these like I do with other breastfeeding pads.

I recently came across NE Kids when searching for the perfect furniture for my baby girl’s nursery. I was immediately impressed with their selection and quality of children’s furniture.

It arrives completely assembled looking gorgeous (I would expect nothing less from such a fantastic furniture company). I put it in her room and it was exactly the finishing touch I was looking for in her room. I am very impressed by the quality of the piece.

This nightstand has “English dovetail joints, Center-braced drawer bottoms, and Cedar drawer boxes.” It is a very high quality nightstand that will last for my baby girl’s whole life! Yep from nursery to college dorm (and beyond), it doesn’t get any better than that. The drawer is such quality it actually shuts itself right at the end of closing it (like it’s sucking it in) I thought that was really neat. I love that the drawer is nice and big for storage as well as a lot of room underneath for storing items. They even have a basket you can purchase to go underneath. I love this nightstand and am so happy I chose NE Kids for this nightstand!

I love all of the wonderful products Innobaby makes for on the go with kids. I was sent the Packin’ SMART Original 5 Tier Food Storage Container to review. I has 5 containers, 5 inner lids, 1 base and 1 cap. They easily snap into and out of each other and can be used with all 5 or with just 1 or 2.

I like that I can fill them with any snack for the kids. They are also perfect for filling with baby formula (holds 8 oz.). I like that the inner lids are funnel shaped making it easy and mess free to pour out formula and snacks. It fits well in the diaper bag and I love that I have all the snacks and formula in one organized place. It is also dishwasher safe which makes cleaning it a breeze. I don’t know how I ever survived a day out with the kids without this!

I love that they are available in a lot of fun colors and prints.

I also had the chance to review the Packin’ SMART Keepaa Multi Use Drink & Juice Box Holder. It has a fold flat design so it makes up little space in your diaper bag. Then when your ready you open it (it locks into place) and you can put the juice box or drink inside. It makes it much easy for little hands to hold. My favorite use is with juice boxes. Even when I give my 4 year old a juice box he accidentally squeezes juice out while holding it, making a mess (even worse with toddlers). But when we put the juice box in this holder there are no spills at all! It even has a “I belong to…” area on the back where you can put your child’s name. I LOVE these and definitely recommend them for making drink holding easy for your toddlers & kids.

This is such a cute Elmo toy! Once we opened the box and started playing with Elmo I couldn’t believe how well and how much he moves. It is so fun! 4 year old Bug instantly fell in love with his cool new toy. Elmo knows when he has a specific instrument, for example, you give him the Mic and he knows he has it and sings with. The same for the drums and tambourine. He even says things like: “Elmo can’t play the drums while holding the microphone”. He will ask for specific instruments as well, which is really fun for Bug. The songs he sings are very catchy, I find myself singing them throughout the day Smile A really cool feature is the you can buy Let’s Rock! Instruments for your child to interact with Elmo. The batteries are included so it is ready for playtime right out of the box. It is for suggested ages of over 18 months to 4 years.

We were also lucky enough to be sent the Playskool Sesame Street Let’s Rock Singin’ Cookie Monster as well.

What I love most about Baby Keba (besides how adorable their products are) is the Organic Pima cotton they are made from. They are so SOFT! I was sent a Butterfly Bib and a Butterfly Burp Cloth. On both items the front is pima cotton and is so soft and the back is a terry cloth which is perfect for absorbing milk, spit up and drool. I really like the size of both for getting the most use out of them. The Butterfly embroidery is beautiful and both are such a high quality.

Baby Keba also has the most adorable and oh so wonderful baby mitts. I got a pair in Tiny Zoo pink and they are so very cute! Besides being cute they are very functional and the best baby mitts I have ever owned. They have an adjustable closure so you can get the perfect fit so your mitts always stay on baby. They are VERY soft so baby is comfortable with them on. The pattern side is reversible so there is another fabric on the other side (for example mine are black & white polka dots on the reverse side) very fun! They will fit a newborn baby up to 3 months. They have a variety of fun prints for both boys and girls.

Tommee Tippee Closure to Nature Milk Feeding Bibs, Nipple Shields, and Breast Pads Review

I really like Tommee Tippee products, they are such a great quality. So I was excited to try out three of their baby feeding products:

Closure to Nature Milk Feeding Bibs:

I LOVE these bibs! The design is absolutely fantastic.

“Absorbent dribble catcher absorbs leaks and spills, helping to eliminates rashes and redness.”

The fabric is really soft and very absorbent. The dribble catcher is awesome! It does a great job of catching milk, spit up & drool and keeping it off baby. They are a good size and provide a lot of coverage for baby but can be used with a small baby as well. So you can get a lot of use out of them. I love the cream color since that is the color of formula and breast milk stains (so you don’t see them). They are machine washable which is so nice. These bibs are perfect for breast or bottle feeding.

Closure to Nature Nipple Shields:

They are made of a soft thin silicone which acts like a second skin for sore or cracked nipples. They also allow baby to latch on really easily. I actually have to use nipple shields each time I breastfeed and I really like these ones.

I like the way they feel on my breast, they are so soft. They are easy to put on and stay on really well since they are the perfect shape. I love that they come with a carrying case that keeps them clean. It is perfect for having in the diaper bag and even around the house.

Closer to Nature Breast Pads:

When breastfeeding, especially in the early days and weeks, breast pads are a must. But not just any breast pads will do. I need comfort as well as protection. I am really happy with these breast pads from Tommee Tippee.

I was excited when I saw this new ExerSaucer from Evenflo. I loved the design of it just by looking at the pictures online. Now that I have seen it in action at my home I LOVE it even more!

It requires assembly, which I found to be simple. The instructions are good and it took me about a half hour to put it together. 2 of the toys require batteries (not included).

Once it was assembled I just admired it. I really like the look of it. The colors are bright and fun for baby but still look nice in my home. It has a more classic look which I am a fan of (rather than a cheesy baby look).

I love that the baby seat hangs like a baby jumper, it makes it so baby can freely move and jump and I have found it to be much quieter than other ExerSaucers or activity centers. Baby can move all the way around which is fun for her to explore as she wants.

All the toys are really cute, and 2 of them light up and make noises and music. They are all easily removable so baby can play with them even if she isn’t in the ExerSaucer. I also like that there is a snack tray where I can put little treats (like cereal puffs) so baby to enjoy while playing.

This is my favorite Baby Activity Center I have owned so far. I highly recommend it to all parent’s of babies!

Now that it is starting to become Spring in Utah I love all of the cute leggings that I have found. Some of the leggings are a little thick so I have been looking for some that are a little more springy and super cute. I found some super cute girls leggings at Lovely Lace that are to DIE for! I was very excited when I found the KidCo Angle Mount Safeway G2101 Gate, it is the only gate that allows you to mount it when the mounting points are not straight across from each other. This is perfect for staircases and banisters that don’t line up perfectly straight. Right off, it was simple for my husband to install the wall hardware for the gate. It is nice that it also has the option to add an extension (sold separately) for staircases and openings that are larger (up to 63”). A great feature is that you can remove the gate completely leaving just the wall hardware in place. Then it is simple and easy to put the gate back on when you need it again. This is nice for times when you need to have the gate out of the way (moving things, etc…)

The gate is easy for my husband and I to open but not for the kids, which is perfect! I like that it clicks into place when locked so you know when it is properly locked. It also has a stop that prevents the gate from swinging out over the stairs making it a perfect top of stairs safety gate.

I really love this hardware mount baby safety gate and highly recommend it.
