MILK Nursingwear Nursing Dress Review and $40 GC Giveaway

When I had my baby Charlotte I decided right away that I would try nursing again. When I had Leah I didn’t have the best experience because my milk never came in. So I didn’t really buy any nursing clothes because I stopped so early. But this time around I decided I wanted to try out some cute nursing tops and dresses.

I came across MILK Nursingwear and really wanted to try it out. They have some super cute tops and Nursing dresses. I went with a simple black dress that I could wear to church or out on the town with the hubby. It was super cute and easy to wear! I loved how it had the built in panel for nursing but didn’t look like a nursing dress.

One thing about nursing I hate is nursing in public, it’s convenient for the fact no bottles are involved but trying to find a quite place is hard sometimes. One thing that I have really loved is my nursing cover up. It makes nursing in public super easy!

Dapper Snappers Big Kids Belts Review and $25 GC Giveaway

As Bug gets older I find it harder and harder to find pants that fit him right, so I have been on the lookout for Boys Belts. This will be our first winter in NY, and it will be my first winter with an iPhone. They also have a great selection of modest womens tops and skirts. I also picked out the most comfy black skirt I have ever had! It is seriously so comfortable. It May Sound Crazy But…I Love Doing Laundry!

I continue to be amazed by how much my Whirlpool Duet Washer and Dryer Pair can do. It really has eliminated so much work for me. Like:

Before I had the pair I used to have to measure out my detergent for each load. The Duet washer has a precision dispense system. So I simply fill the cartridge reservoir with my detergent and the washer will ration out the detergent based on the load it is washing. The reservoir can hold up to 36 loads with each fill. It is amazing! I know now that I was using way to much and it was costing me as well as it wasn’t good for our laundry.
The Duet Dryer has steam! I love the steam. I usually forget to get the laundry out of the dryer right when it finishes and so my clothes end up wrinkled. Not a problem with the Duet Dryer I can set it on a refresh cycle with steam and it gets all the wrinkles out. This saves me SOOOO much time since I won’t have to iron the clothing.
The Washer also has uses steam and is so great for getting out stains. It has a Deep Clean Steam option which penetrates deep into fabrics to break down and dissolve stains and grease. Best of all I don’t have to pre-treat the stain first!
There are so many cycle options on the washer I can find the perfect setting for what I am washing. I especially love the hand wash cycle. It is so gentle and mimics washing in the sink. I have so much more time now that I don’t have to sit and wash all my delicates by hand.
We have the pedestals under our pair and it has been so nice! I no longer have to break my back when switching laundry from the washer to the dryer. The pedestals put the pair at such a great level. I really love it. And the fact that they are drawers is just icing on the cake. It really helps me to stay organized in my laundry room.
I also have the Whirlpool Laundry Worksurface and love it. It sits on top of the pair and provides a nice smooth and flat surface for folding, laying clothing flat to dry, or anything else you need it for. An added bonus to having this is that it protects the top of my pair. For whatever reason our pair seems to be a catch all for random objects (like my hubby’s tools) now that I have the worksurface it is protected from these items denting or scratching my pair.

The Whirlpool Duet Pair has so many wonderful features. I truly love doing laundry now. My clothes are cleaner and look better, I have more time and this pair really has made my life better!

Brag Worthy Christmas ~Lands End Fair Isle Button Gloves and Hat Review

I do not like winter! It is too cold! I am always looking for ways to stay warm. As a teacher, I spend a lot of time outside at recess. I am always looking for cute, good gloves to wear. I really like the Fair Isle button gloves and hat I received from Lands End.

What I like about this gloves is that they are longer and cover up my wrists. Normally when I get gloves, they just cover my hand. The fabric feels very nice. The only thing that I wish I could change is that I got the small size. I have really small hands and they are too big. I wish that had an extra small for people with tiny hands like me.

With my gloves, I also received a matching hat. I am loving this hat. It keeps my ears warm and fits well. I also have a hard time with snow hats making my head itch. This had does not do that. The fabric they used is really soft. I really liked that the hat matches my gloves, it makes me feel stylish.

Lands End does not only sell hats and gloves. They sell all sort of different winter apparel and winter accessories. They have a large section of coats, boots, and even scarfs.

Lands End is a great place to look for Christmas gifts. In most places, it is cold and snowy at Christmas. You always need gloves, hats, and coats to stay warm! Lands End has things for adults and for kids as well. Lands End has all your ‘staying warm’ needs!

Anytime Costumes ~ Kids Halloween Costumes Review and Giveaway [CLOSED]

I absolutely love Halloween! There is something about dressing up and going around to different parties and of course the Trick or Treating. I also love to see what other people and their kids are wearing. This year I let Leah pick out her own Kids Halloween costume and surprise she wanted to be a Princess of course!

I finally went with the White Off Shoulder Dress With A-Line Gathered Satin Skirt and I couldn’t be happier (my other favorite is the picture above). Yes. This dress looks like a wedding dress. It has a gathered/pick up A-line skirt and a white sash that ties in front with removable roses. I really, really love this dress. My daughters think it is pretty amazing too! I bought it for my older daughter, but it is great quality so I imagine my younger daughter will be able to wear it also once she gets bigger.

I decided to get Leah a cute one piece to wear for next summer and I couldn’t believe how cute it was! It was made with great quality and super cute. I love that this custom photo book can be made wallet sized too! This wallet sized book can be carried with you everywhere and it’s so handy to Brag about your cute loved ones!

Get Your Sew On ~ Ruffle Fabric Review and Giveaway [CLOSED]

I LOVE fabric!!! Much to the dismay of my husband, I can spend a long time in a really great fabric store. I can also spend a lot of time looking at fabric online. When I came across Ruffle Fabric, there was some serious swooning going on. I am getting excited just thinking about it!

Ruffle Fabric has some of the most amazing fabric I have ever seen! When I saw their selection, a lot of sewing projects went through my mind. I was thinking skirts, swimsuits, dresses, and more!! I knew I needed some of that fabric! Lucky for me, Ruffle fabric was kind enough to send me 1 1/2 yards of two cute fabrics. I chose the Buttercup Yellow & White Striped Cascading Ruffle Fabric and the Bright Key Lime Green & White Striped Cascading Ruffle Fabric. I was so excited when they came in the mail and they certainly didn’t disappoint.

The fabrics are a combination of 74% Polyester, 25% Nylon, and 1% spandex. The colors are so bright and fun, and the fabric is slightly stretchy so it will be perfect for a skirt!! I can’t wait to make one for each of my girls. They will be so happy! I love that this fabric is pre-ruffled so it saves a lot of time for me. I know how to sew my own ruffles, but it takes a lot of time and patience so it’s great to have it already done for me (and it’s done much better too!)

Ruffle Fabric also has a lot of fabric that would be so cute for an adult skirt or dress. There are several colors to choose from and you can get the bigger ruffles or smaller ones. You really just need to head over to their website to see the amazing selection of some of the BEST fabric you will ever lay your eyes on!! I want it all!!
