I mainly nurse my babies, but I am not opposed to using bottles every so often. In fact, I plan on introducing a bottle to this next baby as soon as we have breastfeeding down. With 3 other kids, I need the freedom that a bottle will provide. In my opinion, there are very few bottles that help a baby transition from breast to bottle easily. And I haven’t actually found any that I really loved….until now! Comotomo bottles are squeezy silicone baby bottles that I know I will love using with this new baby! The nipple actually LOOKS similar to a mothers breast and the bottle itself is soft. I am really hoping this will eliminate the early nipple confusion that I have dealt with when all my babies were tiny.

The Highchair-Helper is a pretty cool little product. For toddlers like my son, who want to try out their independence but aren’t quite coordinated to do it all themselves, it is a life-saver (or a sanity-saver). We no longer use the highchair for E during meal-time, but that is ok because the Highchair-Helper can also be used at the regular table. It’s basically a sticky placemat that keeps dishes from moving & sliding around so much. I have spent money on toddler dishes with the suction cups and they never stuck well to any surface. The Highchair Helper is a great alternative to keep food & dishes where they belong!! You won’t find any other toddler placemats that compare to this one!

Lately we have been having a lot of spills at meal time. Mainly with drinks. It is most likely because 4 year old Bug has so much energy these days. I think he just gets a little to excited and then accidentally knocks over his drink. I could just go back to the sippy but he insists on using a “big boy” cup. I was getting frustrated but didn’t know what to do. When I heard about the Highchair-Helper I knew it was the solution I was looking for. The Highchair-helper isn’t just for high-chairs you can use it as a toddler placemat on any surface. So we have started using it on Bug’s little table where he eats and it has been really great. The Highchair-Helper is sticky and holds his cup in place. It doesn’t completely eliminate spills but it has given us a significant improvement. I love that if it loses it’s stickiness it is easy to clean with just water and goes right back to being sticky again. I will definitely continue to use this with Bug and with the new baby as a baby placemat on the highchair once he/she arrives. It will be so nice to stick a bowl to the highchair-helper so then baby won’t be able to grab it and spill it all. I recommend the Highchair-Helper to all parents of baby’s and toddlers, it’s a must have!

For the Tidy Baby Gourmet ~ Neatnik Saucer Review and Giveaway

All I have to do is open it up, place the seat area into the highchair, and then put my baby into the highchair as I normally would. One of my good friends is Breast feeding her baby right now so I gave this breast pump to her to help me review it. Right off we both love how small it is. It is great for traveling and being able to throw it in your purse makes it so portable. It also comes with a bag which is nice. She likes that she can adjust the levels for pumping. But her favorite thing is the handle which holds both pumps so she only needs one hand for pumping. Then she has her other hand free to help her other kids, read a book, eat, etc…Having a free hand while pumping is really nice. Maxi-Cosi Leila Baby Highchair Review

I have been wanting a new baby highchair ever since Leah grew out of hers. I absolutely did not like the one that we had. I had bought it used and thought it was a good chair at first BUT it was a pain in the butt to clean. It had one of those vinyl covers that catches all the yucky food and in order to get all the crumbs out you basically have to take the whole thing off.

So I told my husband I wanted a new one and low and behold I found out that we could review the Maxi-Cosi Leila Highchair! I can’t wait to try this out with

our baby that’s due in October. Leah has outgrown highchairs BUT this one is perfect for any baby or toddler that will sit down.

I love that this is a very easy to clean highchair, all you need is soap and a good wipe down! There are “No nooks & crannies to capture crumbs” (Maxi-Cosi website) It also doesn’t have any vinyl or cloth padding that needs to be removed in order to clean it. I also love that this highchair has a removable tray that is dishwasher safe! The Maxi-Cosi Leila Highchair also has a removable, wipeable seat cushion!

When I first saw the Loop Highchair I loved the look, it is unique and doesn’t look like traditional highchairs. The modern style really appealed to me. When it arrived I couldn’t wait to get it put together.

Right off I realized it is a good sized highchair and the star shaped base is bigger than I expected. As long as you have a good amount of space for your highchair you will be fine, I just wanted to mention that for those of you with smaller space. I love the star shaped base because it makes the highchair so stable.

My favorite features are the reclining seat and adjustable height. The seat reclines to 3 different positions by pressing the buttons on the side. You can easily recline the seat while baby is sitting in the highchair. It is perfect for young babies who are just starting out on solids and may not be able to sit up on their own yet. The seat adjusts in height using the lever on the side. It isn’t an effortless thing (like an office chair is) you really have to push to get it to adjust down. I actually like that since it prevents your toddler from pressing it (sending baby on a wild ride). Having an adjustable highchair is a huge plus for me. No matter where you are sitting you can have baby at a height that is comfortable to you. Especially when your child is older, you can remove the tray and they can eat with you at the table or breakfast bar (because it is adjustable).

I love that the padding is removable and machine washable. It comes with an additional padded insert with head support for younger babies. Another great feature is that it can easily be rotated all the way around, yep 360°. It is great to be able to have baby facing you no matter where you are working in the kitchen.

I think the Loop Highchair is a great choice for a baby highchair!

It’s been quite a while since Bug was a baby but I still remember those long nights of no sleep, the crying, the diapers…Bug was the type of baby who wouldn’t cry unless he was hungry. His favorite thing was to give me no notice. He would just suddenly start whaling at the top of his lungs. Then the race was on, to make the fastest bottle possible. I wish I would have had the Bib’expresso Baby Bottle and Food Warmer back then. If I had, I could have easily had his bottle made in 90 seconds flat! It would have saved my ears from hearing him cry for longer

Although I don’t have a baby at my home, my sister does. So I had her help me out with this review. We both tried it out for the first time together (so I know what I am talking about ). You open the top and fill it with your desired amount of water. You close the lid and push the start button. I was amazed at how fast it heats the water! It only takes 90 seconds! And it heats the water to a perfect temperature of 98°F. While it’s warming you put your formula in the bottle and place it on the container grid. Once it’s done warming it beeps 3 times, then you press the button to fill the bottle with the water.

I love that you only need one hand to use this from start to finish. That way you can easily hold baby in one arm while preparing a bottle.

You can also use it to warm breast milk or baby food by using the Water Bath mode. For this you can leave it where it is (on top) or you can take it off. You fill it with water (to the max fill line), place your bottle or baby food jar inside, then press one of the two buttons. The first button warms room temperature items (or small amounts), the second warms refrigerated items (or larger amounts). Once it’s done it beeps 3 times.

It cleans itself! Yep, it has a clean mode button. You just fill it with water and it will heat and sterilize it, then you send the water through (like you would making a bottle) and discard it.

Another great feature is the bottle sterilizer stored on the back. It is a microwave steam sterilizer and can hold 3 bottles.

I was really impressed with the product from all that I saw, but the mom of the baby needed to try it out just to be sure. I am so happy to report that she loves it! She says: “The Bib’expresso is a heaven send. It takes all the guess work and hassle out of making bottles or warming baby food. It is quick and so easy to use. I really don’t dread those middle of the night feedings as much as I used to because I know I have the Bib’Expresso. I really like that I have 3 products in one, a bottle warmer/maker, baby food warmer, & a steam sterilizer. One thing to keep in mind it is pretty big for a bottle/food warmer so finding counter space for it might be a problem. I however love it’s features so much I don’t care how much space it takes up.”

I love, love, love this product!! It is easy to take with me anywhere & the 5 point harness keeps my son (SAFELY) where I want him. It folds up nicely and I don’t feel weird carrying it around because it just looks like a bag. It would even be great to use at home. Highchairs can be bulky and get in the way, but the Go Anywhere Booster Seat fits on a chair that you already have at your dinner table. It is the perfect booster seat for travel & for home!!

Brag Worthy Summer ~ Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Single Electric Breast Pump Review and Giveaway [CLOSED]

When I was pregnant with my daughter I decided that I wanted to try out Breastfeeding once she was born. I never really thought much about it, but the more I did the more I wanted to see if it would work for me. It wasn’t the best experience for me because my milk never came in very well and even after pumping (with a not so great pump) I couldn’t get any milk!

So when we got pregnant with this one I decided I wanted to try it out again. I have heard and read that a lot of times your milk comes in better the second time around. One thing I knew I wanted to get was a better breast pump.

When I had Leah I had already decided to start Breast Feeding, and bought a nursing pillow to help me out. Boon Flair Pedestal Highchair with Pneumatic Lift Review and Giveaway ($280 Value!) [CLOSED]

And the continuous height positioning with pneumatic lift is just a fancy way of saying you can pick the exact height you want to fit your table.”

The Boon Flair Pedestal Highchair with Pneumatic Lift looks really cool doesn’t it?! I definitely thought so. But I am happy to let you know that it is a lot more than just a cool looking highchair. It is quality and I find it to be extremely convenient. Here is why: This is a highchair with adjustable heights, because it has a pneumatic lift (like the chairs at the hair salon) so you can easily adjust the height with the push of a button. This is really nice because you can change the height for the counter top and then for the table. When Bug was a baby I wish I would have had the Flair, I never was able to seat him at the table with us because his highchair was stuck at one height (to tall for our table). The other thing I love about the Flair is that it is an easy to clean highchair. You can remove the pad, and wipe it all clean. I love that there isn’t anywhere for food to hide or get stuck in (no cracks). It comes with two removable trays that are dishwasher safe, I love this because while one is cleaning in the dishwasher you have another to use.

A couple things to consider, it doesn’t fold so if you are needing to put it away after each feeding that could be a problem. It is a little on the heavy side (because of the Pneumatic lift). And it has a small tray (about the size of a large dinner plate). While this may seem bad at first I have found that since the tray is smaller your child learns to contain their food/mess. This will make the transition to the table a much cleaner one. Also since the tray is small it fits very nicely in the dishwasher. None of these things are a problem for us, the benefits definitely outweigh them, I just wanted to mention them

We are loving the Boon Flair Highchair and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an easy to clean adjustable height high chair!

I love the colors that this toddler dish set comes in (all their products come in these same colors). The utensils are perfect for little hands & the cup is small enough for my son to drink out of. He is getting pretty good at it too, as long as I only put a tiny amount of liquid in. We don’t use the slide-proof tray yet because it doesn’t fit on the highchair tray. But when my son moves up to the dinner table, I think this tray will contain a lot of the mess that is inevitable when any young toddler eats.

Have you ever had one of the days where you ended up changing your shirt 3 or 4 times because the baby has spit up, thrown up, thrown food etc? Well I have had many of those days! When my little lady was an infant she would not only spit up but projectile vomit at least twice a day! I had to change my clothes numerous times. Well I wish I would have known about the Modern and Stylish BabiLayers cover-up!

This would have saved me many outfit changes and headaches! This is such a new invention (patent pending) and not only prevents your clothes from getting messy BUT it also protects infants from allergens and germs.
