Farr’s Fresh Ice Cream Review and $10 GC Giveaway (2 Winners!) [CLOSED]

My family loves Ice cream and we could wait to try out Farr’s Fresh Ice Cream. If you live in Utah then you are in for a real treat! This was a whole new experience for us, I had never been to an Ice Cream Parlor that served Ice Cream, Frozen Yogurt and Frozen Custard!

What I really loved about Farr’s is that you can sample the flavors before you fill up your cup! There were so many different flavors that I had a hard time choosing. I can’t eat very much ice cream but I was super excited to see they had a couple flavors that were dairy free! Once my husband, Leah and I tried all the flavors we wanted that is where the fun really begins. Unlike any other Ice Cream store that I have been to at Farr’s you fill up your cup, add as many toppings as you want then you weigh it and pay! There are tons of different kinds of yogurt, ice cream and custard and too many toppings to count.

My husband decided to go with Vanilla Custard and topped it with cookie dough bites, oreo cookies and YUMMY hot fudge sauce! My husband thought his was really yummy and can’t wait to go back and try a new flavor and new toppings! My daughter decided to go with Cake Batter Ice Cream, Raspberry Yogurt and Banana Yogurt. She picked out cookie dough bites, chocolate chips and M&M’s with a little chocolate sauce, she LOVED it! Leah especially loved all of the different candy pieces. I decided to go with the 2 non dairy flavors which were Pineapple and Raspberry. I topped mine with chocolate chips, chocolate sauce, graham cracker crumble and it was delish!

“My whole family loves ice cream, so we couldn’t wait to go into Farr’s Fresh. Right off the bat I was taken back by the unique experience. You choose your ice cream, frozen yogurt, or frozen custard, yes they have them all! It’s all soft serve (my favorite!) Then you choose your toppings, once your done, they weigh your creation and you pay just 39 cents per oz. Such a cool thing to build your own Ice Cream! Right when we walked inside one of the workers handed us little sample cups so we could try out some ice cream. I tried several flavors and loved them all. In fact I couldn’t believe how good they all were. I also couldn’t believe how many toppings they had. Everything you can think of. The creation possibilities are many! I chose brownie batter and cheesecake ice cream and topped it off with some peanut butter cups and raisinettes. Bug chose cake batter ice cream and put so much stuff on it, mini m&m’s, sprinkles, raisinettes, chocolate slices, and some gummy worms! My hubby chose the Huckleberry and white chocolate mixed and put cheesecake bites, blackberries, raspberries and hot fudge on it. Mine was really good, the peanut butter cups were really yummy. I didn’t taste Bugs but he gobbled up every last bite. My husbands was seriously so delicious! I kept stealing bites of it, it’s heavenly. So heavenly in fact that we have gone back again just so I could get the same thing he got So yummy! If you live in Utah I highly recommend visiting a Farr’s Fresh with your family. You will love it!”

After browsing for about an hour I finally decided on the Verso KT902-129 Toro Boys Kids Bicycle for Bug. Right now he doesn’t have a pedal bike and I figured this summer was the perfect time to get him one. The shipping from ATG Stores was really fast (arrived within a week). It took my hubby about 30 minutes to put the bike together, it comes partially assembled which is nice so you don’t have to put the whole thing together, just some of it. Once it was put together I was immediately impressed with the quality if this kids bike, it is heavy duty and I can tell it will last for a long time. I also love that it can hold up to 110 lbs. and the seat and training wheels are adjustable. Another way this bike will grow with your child. The red and black look so well together, it is a great looking boys bike. Bug is loving it and likes to ride it to the park and the pool (and all over the neighborhood when we go on our walks). Brag Worthy Summer ~ Cold Stone Creamery Review and $10 Gift Card Giveaway (5 Winners!) [CLOSED]

I’ve always been a huge Cold Stone Creamery fan. I mean really, who isn’t? There’s ice cream, and then there’s Cold Stone. Yummmm.

I was so excited to have an excuse to go there. My husband & youngest son went on vacation for a long weekend, which gave me the perfect opportunity to take my oldest on a mommy/son Cold Stone date. I admit I went with the cake batter. I wanted to be more daring, but I just couldn’t pass it up! It’s SOOOO good, and so unique to Cold Stone. I mixed in some Heath bar, which was the perfect combination. Yumminess in my mouth. My son got the strawberry with no mix-ins, which he was very ecstatic over. He didn’t even leave a drop. The service was fantastic, the place was clean, and overall we had a great “date”. It’s the perfect place to bring anyone you’re looking to spend a little time with!

My family LOVES Cold Stone Creamery. This is one of my husband’s favorite places to go, so naturally he was really excited about getting a gift card so we could try something new! My husband usually gets just the Vanilla mixed in with cookie dough or Oreo’s but tonight he decided to try one of their shakes and he wasn’t sorry he did. He loved the Oreo Shake and I couldn’t get enough of it either. One thing I really love is that I am lactose intolerant and can’t have a ton of Ice Cream BUT they have other choices like their yummy Sorbet and that’s what I decided to get. I loved the Raspberry Sorbet mixed with Chocolate Chips it was super super yummy! My daughter loves anything having to do with Ice Cream and she had the Blue Cotton Candy Ice Cream mixed with Gummy Bears and she was in absolute Heaven and a sugar coma for the rest of the day! I love the service every time we go in there. They are always very patient and are willing to let you try any flavor that you want until you find that perfect one. Cold Stone is a great place to take your family for a fun family night or a date night!

When we are in the mood for some delicious ice cream, Cold Stone is usually the place we turn to. They have so many yummy flavors and mix-ins to choose from. I am a really big Cheesecake ice cream with strawberries and cake batter with brownies fan. My hubby loves the Coffee ice cream with Heath Bar as the mix in. This time I decided to get a cake and bring it come to my family as a surprise. I chose the Cookie Dough Delirium Signature Cake since my little guy is a huge cookie dough fan. It is: “Moist yellow cake, sweet cream ice cream with cookie dough & chocolate shavings covered in fluffy, white frosting.” It was a huge hit, and was gobbled up fast! I highly recommend Cold Stone Creamery ice cream cakes for any special occasion!

When I want good Ice Cream, Cold Stone is my number one choice. If I am going to spend money on it, I want it to be for variety’s that I can’t just buy at the grocery store. Cold Stone definitely has those unique flavors that I am looking for. Three of my all time favorites are: Oatmeal Cookie Batter, Cake Batter, & Peanut Butter. In fact, I have never been to Cold Stone without getting one of those 3 flavors. I have a really difficult time passing up that Oatmeal Cookie Batter so that is what I chose to use my gift card on. It’s delicious alone, but I had to add my favorite mix-ins to it so I added Graham Cracker crust & brownies. It seriously doesn’t get better than that. My girls were happy to have their usual as well. They chose Bubblegum ice cream with….BUBBLEGUM (go figure)! The employees at Cold Stone were super friendly (as always) and didn’t give me dirty looks when my kids asked to sample a few flavors . It’s always nice to go somewhere that is kid-friendly. It was a fantastic night out with my family & GREAT ice cream. I will never get tired of Cold Stone & even though it is quite the drive from my house, it is always worth it!!!

I love ice cream. I think that it is one of the best treats ever created. I love Cold Stone Creamery. I am one of those boring people though. I do not create my own ice cream. All the choices are too overwhelming for me. I normally pick one of their fabulous ‘signature creations’ and have one of those. On my most resent trip to Cold Stone, I got the Cheesecake Fantasy signature creation and my sister got the pink lemonade sorbet mix with raspberries. Both of our ice creams were delicious. My sister and I were very impressed with the service at our Cold Stone Creamery. When we walked in, there was a very long line. We were expecting that we were probably going to be waiting awhile. To our surprise, we were served quickly and were enjoying our ice cream in a matter of minutes. The service staff was also very friendly even though they were busy. We were impressed. I love Cold Stone Creamery and will continue to go often!

Brag Worthy Summer~ Problem Solvers Review and $50 GC Giveaway

I am always looking for new fun ways to get more organized in my apartment. I live in a little place and have WAY too much stuff. Problem Solvers is a great place to look for products to get more organized. I was very excited to receive my Over-the-Door Flower Hook. It is such an easy place to hang up my purse and keys. I have not been misplacing my keys anymore!

Another thing that was fun to discover was that Problem Solvers has many different kinds of products. They also have fun things for the kitchen. One of my favorite things about camping is eating S’Mores. I was very excited to discover an Indoor S’More Maker. It is so easy to use. You can use it in your oven or on your grill. When I used it the first time, I did it in the oven. It only takes about 5 minutes for yummy S’More goodness. My only thing is that the marshmallows did not get that toasty taste that you get from roasting them over the fire. Next time, I will be trying them on the grill to see if I get more of that toasted marshmallow favor.

Problem Solvers have many different products to try out! They also have products for the kitchen, living room, many different tools and gadgets, and some great outdoor furniture.

Money Scholar Educational Piggy Bank Review and $40 GC Giveaway [CLOSED]

So I was talking to my friend the other day and she has started a new system with her 2 yr old daughter. They are trying to potty train her and have decided to do a fun money system! She gets a Quarter or Dime everytime she goes potty and is saving up to buy a fun BUG juice from the gas station. I thought what a brilliant idea!

So not only is she learning to save but also how to count out things!

I was introduced to Yandy lingerie and costumes last fall when I was able to review one of their sexy Halloween costumes (I was a genie!). I loved the costume and so did everyone at our Halloween party.

I was really excited to recently learn that Yandy also carries a great line of swim suits! I had a hard time choosing a bikini, since there are so many fun and sexy bikinis on their site. Finally after a long time trying to make up my mind I chose this Baja Belted Bikini with triangle top (pictured right). When it arrived I couldn’t wait to try it on and was so happy to see that it fit perfectly. It is made of a great material and looks super sexy on! The white belt really makes the swim suit, it’s so cute. The bottoms are full coverage and that helps me to feel completely comfortable while wearing this suit. And best of all my husband absolutely loves this bikini on me. I am very happy with my Yandy swim suit and will probably be ordering at least one more from them. They have such great prices!
