4 year old Bug has so much energy, it’s great but these spring rainy days can be frustrating for him. That is why I was thrilled to get the iBounce Kids Trampoline from JumpSport. It is an indoor trampoline for kids that is perfect for getting energy out and exercising on a rainy day (and everyday as well)!

It arrived and I put it together right away. Bug loves this trampoline and so do I! It has been a great way for him to exercise, play and just get energy out while inside the house. He likes to jump on it while he watches his favorite movies and TV shows as well, it is nice that he is active even when he is watching TV.

I remember as a kid when the original BOP IT came out. We loved it and played for hours, great fun. Now the BOP IT! XT Game makes it so much more challenging and even more fun! It comes with batteries so it is ready to play right away. I love the new flick it, shake it and spin it elements. It is a great game to play on your own or play as a family or with friends with the different modes. I also really like that it has a place where you can plug in headphones, very nice for car rides (so everyone else doesn’t have to listen to it for hours on end) Smile It’s a great game the whole family will enjoy.

My 4 year old has seen commercials for these Star Wars Fighter Pods for a little while now so when we got the Millennium Falcon Pack he was very excited to play with them. It comes with 4 pods, a ship and 8 fun little Star Wars figures. He LOVES them and has been having a blast playing and “battling” with them. They are a huge hit, he is already asking for more!

Lalaloopsy Sew Magical Mermaid Doll Review and Giveaway [CLOSED]

I know Lalaloopsy dolls have been the big thing for a while…however, my girls aren’t really old enough to follow the trends so we have never owned a Lalaloopsy doll. That is until now. We were sent a Lalaloopsy Sew Magical Mermaid Doll and my daughters are loving her!

Besides being super cute, my girls of course love that "’Coral Sea Shells’ is meant to go in the water. They have a lot of fun playing with her in the bathtub. The hair on this Lalaloopsy doll changes color (depending on the temperature of the water) and that makes this doll even more fun! I am a big fan of the fact that this doll is not wearing a bikini. She has a nice modest swimsuit on, and that makes me a happy mom since I try to keep my girls’ swimsuits the same way. She also comes with a mermaid tail that easily goes on & off. My only complaint is that we don’t have 2 of these Lalaloopsy Sew Magical Mermaid Dolls because both of my girls want to play with her often!!

I’m a big fan of Contours Strollers, they are great quality and have great features. So I couldn’t wait to try out the Options LT Tandem Stroller. I love that it has so many great ways your kids can ride. It really gives you so many Options (making the name perfect). I also like that the back seat is up higher (stadium seating) giving a better view to your child in back as well as putting them closer to you when they are facing you.

It has “six different seating options: children can both face you, face each other, face forward, sit back to back, or you can use the stroller with just the front seat (& extra storage space in the back), or use with some of the most popular infant car seats.”

It was simple to assemble and took only 15 minutes from start to finish. The front wheels snap on, you put the back wheels on with washers & pins. You place the brake bar on, then you place the seats on (they are assembled already). I really like how easy it is to put on and take off the seats. It makes it really convenient to change the seating setup quickly and effortlessly.

“The auto-lock and convenient Free-Stand™ allows the stroller to easily stand upright when folded”. I love that it stands on it’s own folded. It makes it so easy to store it when it’s not in use. I also like that it is simple to fold and lightweight at just 33 1/2 lbs so I can lift it into our trunk on my own. I also like that you can keep both seats on when you fold it.

It “accomodates one or two infants/children up to 40 lbs. each (80 lbs. total).”

My 4 year old Bug LOVES Jake and the Never Land Pirates. It is one of his favorite shows. It is actually one of the few kids shows I enjoy sitting down and watching with him as well. He enjoyed ever minute of the Peter Pan Returns episode when it aired on Disney Junior. He loves the music and all the singing that Peter Pan does (and so do I). So he was really excited to get the episode along with 5 other fun episodes including one that hasn’t been aired on the Jake and the Never Land Pirates: Peter Pan Returns DVD with Digital Copy. I am also glad it comes with the Digital Copy so we can easily take this great DVD with us when we travel and watch it anywhere. My girls are ecstatic about having this fun little mermaid to play with in the bathtub! We received the pink doll (Avery) and not only is she cute, but she swims in her own. Well I have to say this is the first review I really am disliking doing… why, you ask? This baby food maker is a pretty amazing product. Not only does it Puree and blend food, but it also steams, warms, & defrosts!! I love it because I don’t have to get several bowls dirty while preparing my child’s food! Also, I can make the baby food to any consistency that my baby prefers. I remember when E was eating baby food and he really disliked the pureed consistency. He liked chunky so I love that the Babycook allows for that! The bowl that comes with the Babycook has a 2 1/2 cup capacity & is BPA free. The fact that it is dishwasher safe (the bowl & basket) is just an added bonus.

The Babycook is small enough that I have no trouble finding a place to store it when I am not using it. That is important for me since our kitchen is pretty packed to begin with. The Beaba Babycook is the perfect way to make your own homemade baby food!

Step2 4-in-1 Rock ‘n Stroll Rider Review and Giveaway [CLOSED]

We were excited to review The Step2 4-in-1 Rock ‘n Stroll Rider, right off I loved the fact that it has so many uses and really grows with your child.

I have to say putting it together was a little more work than I expected. It comes in all separate pieces (as shown below). It took me about an hour to put it together, so I recommend doing it when your child is sleeping so they don’t get frustrated waiting for you.

Once assembled I liked how cute it is. This is showing it with the rocker. It’s great that your baby can enjoy rocking in it once they are old enough to sit up and rock (suggested age is 1). I like that it has a yellow support bar for added support for your baby. The bar easily moves up and down so you can put your child in and out with little effort.

The rocker platforms easily remove and it is ready to roll. Your child can then stand behind it and use it as a walker or push toy. It has green feet supports they can use as you push them along.

The handle on the back raises up easily for it to become a push toy your child can ride on as you push them along.

Once your child is older you can remove the yellow support bar and it is a ride on foot to floor vehicle.

The steering wheel has a fun toy on it with buttons and knobs. It makes noise and plays cute music. It requires 2 AA batteries, not included, so be sure to have some handy.

The toy is removable so your child can play with it off of the vehicle as well.

This is a great ride on toddler toy with so many uses!

This hip bag truly caters to mom/dad & baby. I received the black leather BaMomzY Bag and it is great. It has all the right pockets & pouches and really simplifies the life of new parents. And with all the other things we have to worry about, it’s nice to know that there is actually a diaper bag that makes things a bit easier. I think the built-in wipe dispenser is ingenious, and I love the added paci pouch that will keep my baby’s binky easy to access at all times. My only wish is that the bag was a little more chic (maybe a different color or pattern) but that is just my personal style. I tend to go for more eccentric accessories Winking smile . You can get the bag in a brown corduroy though and it has a really cute red inner lining that I love!

I just love that Safety 1st doesn’t make me sacrifice my home décor style in order to keep baby safe. Case and point, this gate. It is very nice to look at and matches my home. It looks sleek and elegant which makes this mom happy. The fact that it is a hardware mount safety gate makes it perfect for the top of our stairs so I know that it is secure in place at all times. I love that I can open it with one hand so it’s easy for me to open, but a toddler can’t open it so it’s safe. It feels really sturdy and I feel great knowing my baby is safe from falling down the stairs.

Allan, who is a graphic designer, and I developed the first book My Very Own Name as a team. Our goal was to produce an educational book that would teach young children how to recognize letters and spell their names. After I developed the concept and wrote the book, we brainstormed together to develop the characters in the book. Allan found and hired the illustrator, and designed the book, while I wrote the business plan.
We are pleased to say our books have become popular among celebrities including Courteney Cox, Brooke Shields and Jessica Alba.
Our mission is to increase self esteem in children through personalized books that celebrate the uniqueness of each child. The goal of our books is to show each child how absolutely unique and special he or she is, to teach the child how to spell his or her name, and to build vocabulary skills.
