I have to admit that my hair is one of my favorite features. It’s cute wavy, but easy to straighten. But, now that I have two toddlers I rarely actually fix it. Up in a pony tail, bangs in bobby pins. Booooring. So, whenever I find a product that can help speed up any processes, and inspire me to tackle my hair are awesome in my book. My absolute favorite of the Enjoy Haircare products I was able to review is the hair shaping lotion. It worked perfectly on my wavy hair, and gave it just enough curl without that “crunchy” look. I was able to put some in my hair, and let it air dry down, and it looked great! Yay! I also loved the hair straightener, it worked great when I made the commitment to use my flat iron. I really think it helped the process go faster, and made it shiny! I used the hair texture spray afterwards, and I think it gave it a textured look, without too much. I am a huge Enjoy Haircare fan now, and look forward to trying other products in the future! I recommended them whole heartedly.

Styling my hair straight with a flat iron is a big job! I need a flat iron that will give me the smooth look I want, in an acceptable amount of time! I use to use a 2 inch flat iron, and now that my hair is long, it worked fine. But it was not the greatest for when my hair was cut in an A-line. I really love the look of this new Conair styling tool. It is a deep purple, and is really sleek-looking. Also, it is so thin and light. I couldn’t help but think about how easy it will be to travel with!! I was excited to straighten my hair with it and was impressed with the results. The iron heated up very quickly and it gets super hot. I can’t say that it straightened my hair any quicker than my old iron, but it did a comparable job and I am happy with that. The best thing about this flat iron is that I can get right up next to my head because it is only 1 inch wide. I can also curl with it….but I need a little practice in that area Winking smile .

It works great in my girls’ hair too! The one inch size is a so much easier to use on them. Especially with my 4 year old because her hair is short. I like knowing that the Tourmaline Ceramic is less damaging to their fine hair. And the fact that it has Automatic shut-off makes this iron even better (I am known to forget to unplug my hair styling products).

I am a huge advocate of saving time and getting things done as fast and efficient as possible. With my daughter I have all of 15 to 20 mins to get ready, or Leah gets into everything. I use this a few times a week. Anything that eliminates drying time gets an A+ in my book. And it really does smooth my hair. I was so excited to be able to review the Conair You Curl! The very first time I saw it, I knew it was a product I would love! It’s an awesome, high quality ceramic curling iron that doesn’t have the clamp! I know we’ve all tried curling our hair without using the clamp, and it never quite works out how you planned. Luckily, you don’t have to improvise any more. This product creates beautiful curls, and it’s really easy to use. It’s great for a fancy hair-do for a special event, but also great for day-to-day looks. I like that you can pull the hair tighter for smaller curls, or looser for bigger curls. I used this for a Mom’s Night Out, and it turned out FANTASTIC! I will definitely be using the Conair You Curl a lot!

HOW TO USE:

1.Take a 1-inch wide section of hair, starting 2 inches from the scalp.

2.Wind the section of hair around the thicker portion of the barrel toward the cool tip.

3.Hold the end of the hair in place at the cool tip for 5 to 8 seconds depending on hair type, and then release. Because there is no clip, you can easily curl hair without kinks. For tighter, bouncier curls, roll less hair. For loose, free-flowing curls, roll more hair. To “set” the curl, do not comb or brush hair until it cools.

4.Repeat process on additional sections of hair until you achieve the hair style you desire.

I love creative fun items not only for the body but also the home. I couldn’t wait to receive some great stuff from Bath n Body & Country Candles. I was able to review Lemon Sugar Scrub, Facial Cream, Silk Protein Hair Mist scented in Pink Grapefruit, and some Soy Melt Tarts.

I was so excited when Remington said they wanted me to review their T-Studio Heated Clip Hair Setter. I have been just wearing my hair long and straight, but have been getting tired of the same old thing. So I have recently started trying new hair styles. So getting these Hair Rollers to review was perfect timing. I have used rollers in the past (it was a long long time ago) and let me tell you this was a whole new experience (and a much better one as well). And since I don’t have a little girl to try it out on, I wore it around my house all day. It really did stay in, even when I shook my head to see if it would fall out. When I am lucky enough to be blessed with a little girl she will definitely be wearing sweety baby hair clips all the time!

The Story behind the start of Sweety Baby:

“Since my daughter was born her hair has gone through many different stages. Upon entering the world she had a full head of dark hair, which soon got rubbed away in specific places, leaving her with a flattering tonsure look It eventually grew in slowly and took on a lighter red hue, especially in the sun. So with her red hair and blue eyes we often wondered where she came from, seeing that my husband and I are brown-eyed brunettes.

Then her hair stuck straight in the air. She looked like a boy with a buzz cut, people even asked me if I cut her hair that way, which was immediately returned with a puzzled stare, such as saying “why in the world would I do that?” Well it slowly calmed down and finally laid down for the most part but then became so super fine I could do nothing with it!
I tried to hold her bangs back with a small elastic band, which worked for a while until she realized she could take it out and eat it, yum! So then I tried various clips, all which stayed in for a few minutes before they slid out onto the floor, posing a choking hazard for my child, as if I didn’t have enough to worry about already!

So that’s when I decided to make these clips, which I wish I would’ve had since her birth. They stay in super fine baby hair (even if there is hardly any of it) and even work in thicker hair. They do wonders at letting strangers know that your baby is a girl (not that the pink outfit she’s wearing shouldn’t do that already) so that you don’t get those awkward “Oh HE is so precious!” comments. And finally they are just so cute I can’t help having a matching one for every outfit!”-Leigh
