The Highchair-Helper is a pretty cool little product. For toddlers like my son, who want to try out their independence but aren’t quite coordinated to do it all themselves, it is a life-saver (or a sanity-saver). We no longer use the highchair for E during meal-time, but that is ok because the Highchair-Helper can also be used at the regular table. It’s basically a sticky placemat that keeps dishes from moving & sliding around so much. I have spent money on toddler dishes with the suction cups and they never stuck well to any surface. The Highchair Helper is a great alternative to keep food & dishes where they belong!! You won’t find any other toddler placemats that compare to this one!

Lately we have been having a lot of spills at meal time. Mainly with drinks. It is most likely because 4 year old Bug has so much energy these days. I think he just gets a little to excited and then accidentally knocks over his drink. I could just go back to the sippy but he insists on using a “big boy” cup. I was getting frustrated but didn’t know what to do. When I heard about the Highchair-Helper I knew it was the solution I was looking for. The Highchair-helper isn’t just for high-chairs you can use it as a toddler placemat on any surface. So we have started using it on Bug’s little table where he eats and it has been really great. The Highchair-Helper is sticky and holds his cup in place. It doesn’t completely eliminate spills but it has given us a significant improvement. I love that if it loses it’s stickiness it is easy to clean with just water and goes right back to being sticky again. I will definitely continue to use this with Bug and with the new baby as a baby placemat on the highchair once he/she arrives. It will be so nice to stick a bowl to the highchair-helper so then baby won’t be able to grab it and spill it all. I recommend the Highchair-Helper to all parents of baby’s and toddlers, it’s a must have!

I received a Neatnik Saucer in the MIAMI pattern. With it’s grey and white colors, it is perfect for a girl or boy. The Neatnik Saucer fits standard highchairs and collapses into a little 12" x 12” carrying bag. It is simple to use too. All I have to do is open it up, place the seat area into the highchair, and then put my baby into the highchair as I normally would. The saucer is basically a baby placemat that creates a bigger surface area for my sons food & toys and it surrounds him so there is less of a chance that he will drop something on the floor! There is a raised edge so that incase my son spills his drink (and chances are he will), it won’t drip onto the floor!! The Neatnik Saucer also makes a great high chair cover. The saucer is easy to clean and when we are all finished, I simply fold it up and put it back into it’s coordinating pouch. Now that we have this toy & food catcher, I feel like we can take our son out to eat with us more often.

I love, love, love this product!! It is easy to take with me anywhere & the 5 point harness keeps my son (SAFELY) where I want him. I have used this while visiting family, & at get-togethers with friends who don’t have children. I like to keep it in my car just in case I need it at a restaurant (which I know will happen eventually). It folds up nicely and I don’t feel weird carrying it around because it just looks like a bag. It would even be great to use at home. Tarpy Splat Mat Review and Giveaway [CLOSED]

Okay so it was a huge eye sore. But I didn’t know what else to do. Until I came across the Tarpy spill mat one day. I knew this was what I needed. When it arrived. My first impression was. Wow this is such a small size (when it is rolled up). I can easily fit it in my diaper bag without it taking up a lot of space. Then once I opened it and set it under bug’s chair I was in heaven. The chocolate brown color matched my home decor so well. I know longer have this bright red eye sore on my dining room floor. I love that the splat mat is waterproof so my carpet is protected. I also like that it is a good sized mat. Just big enough that it covers the area in danger of getting spilled on, but not too big that it is awkward. The best thing about it for me is how easy it is to wash it. I can simply wipe it clean, or if I need to I can through it in my washing machine. I honestly don’t know how I survived for all these years without a Tarpy Splat Mat!

My son is not happy unless he can see what is going on around him. Normally, he is pretty fussy during our shopping trips because he has to lay in his car seat. We couldn’t wait for the new Prince Lionheart bebePOD Flex to arrive. It is the FIRST and ONLY Floor to Booster Infant Seat, so of course we were excited to get a chance to try it out. I enlisted the help of my friend who has a 4 month old baby boy. Right off we were impressed with how soft and cushy this seat is. Definitely comfortable for baby. It has a pommel (that white thing on the front middle) that helps keep baby snugly in place. Also, you can remove the pommel and put a tray on so baby can have play or snack time (tray is sold separately). A huge plus to this infant seat is the high back which helps promote proper posture. It is never to early to learn how to sit up straight But the best thing about this infant seat, is that it is also a booster seat. Yes, it has a seat belt to go around baby, and a strap to secure it to a chair. Making this bebePOD a product in which you will definitely get more bang for your buck! When I first started buying baby products for a then in-utero Harrison, I did lots of research. I was sure to buy a full-size high chair, because I thought that was what I needed. But I’m so glad I was able to review the miSwivel Feeding Chair from The First Years, because they have changed my mind. I no longer believe a full-size high chair is necessary- this portable highchair has all those great features, plus it’s easier to clean, takes up less space, and converts into a toddler booster seat, so it’s the only thing you’ll ever need! Plus it’s super stylish, which moms are looking for. I love the swivel feature, because it makes it super easy to feed Ruben baby food right from one of our kitchen chairs, especially because our chairs are so difficult to move on the splash mat. No need to move it, just swivel! The recline feature is great too, because Ruben can also enjoy a bottle in his seat. Great for busy moms! And my all-time fav feature? The pad is easy to remove, and washable! I would definitely recommend the miSwivel Feeding Chair to any new, or veteran parent!

Joovy Nook Highchair Review

I was so excited when Joovy sent us their new Nook Highchair to review. Right off I love the modern look of this highchair. It looks great in my kitchen. There are so many fabulous features of this highchair. If I had to choose my favorite it would be the fact that it doesn’t take up to much space and is so easy to store in my pantry. It folds flat and compact. So for everyday use we have it sitting out in our kitchen, it fits perfectly next to our dining table. But when we have people over for game night we can fold it and place it in our pantry or coat closet. And how perfect it will be when I’m in between babies in highchairs, I can store it easily in my basement without it taking up so much space. It is so nice. The other features I really like is the Leatherette seat (I got white) cleans so easily, I just wipe it clean with a rag or baby wipe. The swing open tray makes it really easy for bug to get in and out by himself. He fits well in this highchair which is saying a lot because he is a pretty tall 2 year old. I like that the tray can be removed completely if you would like to use the chair without it at the table. The tray insert comes of for super easy cleaning, it’s dish washer safe. It doesn’t get easier than that! And last but definitely not least it has a 3 point harness seatbelt which is a must have. We don’t want our precious babies falling out and getting hurt. All around we love the New Joovy Nook Highchair!
