I want to start by saying that November is American Diabetes Month.

So I have been on Nutrisystem for 4 days now and I am feeling great! I am so excited to be on this weight loss program! When I originally started Nutrisystem on my own back in January the hardest part about the diet was finding the Nutrisystem foods that I liked. You won’t like them all, I certainly don’t. Bu once you find what you like it is great. Keep in mind that the Nutrisystem food is going to taste a little different than the foods you are accustomed to eating. This is a diet plan. Also, none of the regular Nutrisystem foods are frozen or refrigerated (they do have fresh/frozen foods see that below), you can simply keep them in your pantry. So that also plays a part in the taste. But I have found the food that I think is the best and by ordering those foods I am able to stay on the plan and enjoy it.
In order to help you know what food I think is yummy, I thought I would share with you what my favorite Nutrisystem foods:
Breakfast Foods:
Muffins:
I love them all. Blueberry, Banana Nut, and Double Chocolate. They are soft and moist. The double chocolate is my favorite! I think it is so delicous! (probably the choc-aholic in me) But I seriously look forward to the mornings when I get to eat my chocolate muffin
Oatmeal:
They have Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal and Maple Brown Sugar Oatmeal. I think both are really yummy. They taste sweet and not bland so it is much better than plain outmeal. I also feel really full after I eat the whole bowl.
Lunch Foods:
Soups:
The soups taste best when you get them nice and hot.
Noodles with Chicken and Vegetables (not to be confused with Chicken Noodle Soup, this is different).
Beans and Ham Soup: This is very filling.
Creamy Tomato Soup
Cream of Broccoli Soup: The Broccoli isn’t very soft but it does taste good.

Fettuccine Alfredo:
I am a pasta lover, that is probably an understatement. SO I enjoy the Fettuccine Alfredo for lunch. I cook it in the microwave a little longer that the package says (be sure to watch it or it overflows) and then I recover it and place a glass bowl over the top. I let it sit for 4 or so minutes and then it is ready to eat.
Bars:
I know what your thinking, just a bar as lunch? But the Nutrisystem bars are very filling and very satisfying.
The fudge graham bar is so yummy. It is like eating a s’more.
Also, the Double Chocolate Caramel Bar is really good.
Chicken Salad:
I like to mix shredded lettuce into this. You can add it to a small whole grain roll (not included) but I prefer just to eat it as a salad with the lettuce. Sometimes I add in a few chopped up grapes (then I substitute them from my fruit at snack time).
Dinner Foods:
Italian Herb Flatbread Pizza: This is really good and satisfies my pizza cravings! This is my #1 choice for Nutrisystem pizza. The crust is soft and the flavors are really good. The others are okay I just think this one is better.

Lasagna: They have two kinds of Lasagna. Lasagna with meat sauce and Vegetable Lasagna with Basil Tomato Sauce. I like both. If I had to pick a favorite it would be the Lasagna with Meat Sauce, but like I said both are good.
Vegetable Fajita: You add water to the mix and them bowl it. The chicken substitute is a little chewy but it is overall good. You have to add your own whole grain roll or tortilla. I also like to add shredded lettuce.
Southwest Style Chicken Wrap: This one comes ready, you just have to warm it. It also comes with it’s own tortilla. I add lettuce. This tastes really good.
Chicken with Dumplings: I am not a big fan of the chicken in this, but I do like the dumplings, carrots and gravy.

Chili: Available regular chili with beans, or vegetarian chili. I like the Chili with beans more but have tried both and the vegetarian is good as well. This is a great chili, very satisfying, very filling. I like it nice and hot as well.

BBQ Sauce with Pork Wrap and the Buffalo Chicken Wrap: These are good, they come with a tortilla. But the meat/sauce is kinda runny so I add shredded lettuce inside the wrap for a nice crunch.

Sloppy Joe: This is a mix that you add water to and then boil. The meat is a little chewy but the flavor is really good. You have to add your own small whole grain roll for this.
Desserts:
Walnut Chocolate Chip Cookies: These are by far my favorite Nutrisystem dessert. At first I didn’t think I would like these cause I’m not a huge fan of walnut cookies. But they are seriously the yummiest cookies! My hubby and son try to steal them because they love them as well. They are crisp little cookies, and there are a bunch in the bag. It really satisfies my snacking/cookie cravings.
Cakes:
I like the Golden Pound cake best and the chocolate cake is also good. The golden pound cake kinda tastes like a twinky without the cream filling.
Nutrichocolates: At first I didn’t really like the flavor and texture but once I had been on the diet for a while and was chocolate deprived they actually are really good.
Cookies:
These come with one cookie. I like the peanut butter, chocolate chip, and white chocolate chunk best.
Bars:
The Thin Mint Crisp Bar is my favorite of the dessert bars (it tastes like grasshopper cookies/girl scout thin mints).
The Chocolate Caramel Dessert bar has a delicious caramel taste. I also like the Chocolatey Nougat Bar with Peanuts and Caramel. It’s like eating a snickers.
Chocolate Chocolate Chip Pudding: You add skim milk to the mix and then I let it sit in my fridge until it’s chilled. Yum!
Fresh-Frozen Foods: Nutrisystem now offers fresh-forzen foods. You can set up your plan to include these items or order them A La Carte. I suggest ordering it with your plan and just mixing in the fresh-frozen foods as a treat. It comes with 7 days of breakfasts, lunches and dinners that arrive frozen and you keep in your freezer. I have ordered the Women’s Select7 and I really liked all of the fresh-frizen food, it is very yummy! My favorites are the Steak and Cheese Melt, Chicken Quesadilla, Turkey Pepperoni Pizza, and the Spinach and cheese stuffed shells. But seriously they are all really good.
So those are the Nutisystem foods that I think are the best! You will want to find out for yourself what you like. I hope my suggestions help some. When you sign up for Nutrisystem, they offer a favorites option where they will send you their most popular items rather than having you choose what you want. This can be a great way to try a variety of their items. If you want to sign up be sure to use this link or this phone number: 888-853-4689 to get extra special savings!
