I am expecting a new baby in June and I have been on the search for the perfect baby car mirror. Once I saw the Baby Einstein Music & Discovery Travel Mirror I knew it was exactly what I wanted. When it arrived I was pleasantly surprised at how cute it is. The colors are so bright and vibrant.

It has four play modes:

Discovery mode Introduces baby to colors and

Lights and melodies

Lights only

The fun songs and lights are really fun for baby. I like that it is a large sized mirror so you can see your baby well while in the car. It has a sun dial timer on top that you can set for 10, 20, 30 or 60 minutes. Perfect for keeping baby entertained on any car ride. Once you decide how long you want it to play for you just push the sun and it starts. With the different settings you can find what’s perfect for you, baby and everyone in the car. There are 2 volume levels to choose from (low & high) and you can turn it off altogether as well. You can also use this as a baby crib mirror.

JJ Cole Collections Car Seat Canopy Review and Giveaway

I love the JJ Cole Collections Car Seat Canopy. When Bug was born 4 years ago I used to just throw a blanket over the top of his infant seat when we went out. Well that never worked as the blanket would fall and it made it awkward to carry. This infant car seat cover straps onto the handle of the car seat with velcro straps so it is not in the way of the handle while carrying. The elastic around the whole bottom gives it a snug fit on the car seat so it will stay on well.

I really like that it is a lightweight and breathable fabric so baby gets airflow even when it is shut.

I think having your baby covered (especially in the early months) is really important. Not only to protect them from the elements but also from strangers who like to touch. Keeping them away from germs as well.

It has velcro closures along the front so you can undo them to check on baby as well as open it all the way to get baby in and out. I love that you don’t have to remove the cover to do that.

Zooper Tango Double Stroller Review and Giveaway ($499 Value!)

As you can see it is a GREAT stroller with many features to make your trip out and about with kids easy and comfortable. It provides a very smooth ride thanks to the four independent wheel suspensions. Your child can easily stay asleep while riding even when going over bumps. You can push and turn this stroller with just one hand. It turns on a dime and is effortless!

Each seat has it’s own individual recline and can be reclined to 4 different positions. When reclined fully your child is laying in a flat position perfect for little ones who need to take naps while you are out and about.

One hand recline makes it very easy to recline and adjust the backrest.

It has 2 separate canopy’s for each seat. You can see the canopy’s full coverage in the images below: upright seat position (left) reclined position (right).

There is also an infant safety enclosure net on each canopy. It provides security for your baby. You can also unzip it (as shown) for air flow to your child or to check on them.

It comes with 2 infant head rest inserts (shown on the left) and has a 5 point harness system which is easy for an adult to buckle and un-buckle (not easy for a child).

It also comes with 2 additional arm rest bars providing more leg room for older children. All armrests are removable and are extremely easy to remove and reconnect.

Large utility basket underneath can hold a large diaper bag as well as other items and bags. Great for holding everything you need on your day out.

Zipper provides side access to the storage basket. This is great because if both children are fully reclined you won’t be able to access the basket from the back. With this feature you will still have access to cargo underneath.

Both canopy’s have a large storage pocket as well as a smaller pocket with a flap closure. Great for storing pacifiers, wipes, cell phones, car keys, toys, etc…

It also has a removable cup holder on the side for holding baby bottles, water bottles, and or sippy cups.

It also comes with a sun shade and foot muff accessory. Sun shade provides shade from the sun while still allowing your children to see the environment around them. The foot muff covers both children and protects from the wind and rain (is water resistant). Both are easy to put on and take off.

The Tango is easy to open and to fold. Once folded it stands on it’s own. Folded it measures 42” x 30” x 14”.

If you have been looking for running earphones, or earphones for any physical activity look no further. I have found the perfect product for anyone who is active outside and loves to listen to music. My hubby rides his road bike regularly and loves to listen to music as he does. For safety he leaves one ear open (as you should) so he only uses one side of his headphones. The One Good Earbud is available in different styles: In ear, wrap around, iPod style, with or without a mic…For my hubby I got the In ear with Mic. It is perfect for him since he likes to be able to answer his phone as he is riding, with the mic he is able to do just that. The sound quality is great with this single earbud and he no longer has to worry about the other earphone getting in the way. This earphone is great for any activity where awareness is needed as well as for use with his smartphone while driving, etc…This single earphone is also ideal for someone with a hearing impairment in one ear.

BuDLoKs are a great way to ensure that your in ear headphones stay in your ear. My hubby uses them with his in ear one good earbud while riding his bike and exercising and they work great. He no longer has to worry about his earphone falling out while he is active. They provide a really nice snug fit and since they come in a pack with 3 different sizes he was able to find the best fit for him. And it worked out that a different size fit my ears so even more bang for our buck!

As a mom, for me a lightweight umbrella stroller is a must have. Whether it’s running errands, shopping, or going to the park, I like having a compact stroller in my trunk at the ready. I love the Baby Cargo 300 Series stroller because it is a quality lightweight stroller that folds very compactly. I was pleasantly surprised when I first folded it and saw just how compact it is. I can easily keep it in my trunk and still have a ton of room to spare.

The lightweight aspect of it is heavenly. Especially with me being pregnant right now. I can easily lift it in and out of the trunk without risking hurting myself. In fact this stroller weighs in at only 15.8 lbs!

I am loving how easy it is to fold and unfold, as well as how easy the brakes are to use. I can simply use my foot for all of these things.

The basket on the bottom isn’t very big, but I can fit a small or medium sized diaper bag in it. There are also 2 pockets under there as well, perfect for water bottles, sippy cups, or baby bottles. There is also a cup holder that comes with it that you can attach to the back of the stroller (up near the handles).

Probably my second favorite feature of this stroller is that it reclines. A lot of umbrella strollers don’t have that option and this one reclines quite a bit. Definitely enough to allow your child to nap while you are out and about. I also like that the canopy is nice and high allowing taller children to fit. My 4 year old fits comfortably in this stroller with head space to spare. Making it a great choice since you can use it from birth to 50 lbs.

We love playing games at our house and try to play as a family as much as we can. So we get excited about new Hasbro game releases. The most recent we got to test out is the new Simon Flash Game. It has cubes (similar to Scrabble Flash) that you line up to play 4 different versions of the Simon game. I’m a big Simon fan and have loved playing it since I was a kid. So it has been a real blast playing 4 different versions of the game. I love that it comes with a case to hold the tiles. It is perfect for to use during the Simon classic game since it keeps all the tiles lined up and you can travel with it. It’s fun that you can play alone or with people. This is a great family game and the perfect last minute Christmas gift idea!

Brag Worthy Christmas ~ Picnic Fun Tailgater Picnic Set on Wheels for 4 Review

I have been wanting a great Picnic Tote for a few years now for traveling. We don’t take too many road trips or vacations, but when we do, I like to pack as much of our own food so we don’t have to spend so much money eating out. Now that we have the Picnic fun Tailgater Picnic Set on Wheels for 4, that is going to much easier to do.

It is black, insulated, and made out of sturdy material that will definitely last for years to come. I love that it has a telescopic handle that I can use to wheel into hotel rooms, picnic areas, and anywhere else we decide to go! I am excited to take this on our next road trip which is coming up very soon.

I am so excited for baby number two to arrive! Since I found out I was pregnant I knew I needed to create an online baby registry but hadn’t done it. Today I decided to register for my baby at Amazon.com and I am loving it! I love how easy the registry is to use. I love that I have my own link to my registry page that I can give out to friends and family. I love Amazon’s low prices so I’m glad my friends and family will be able to save when buying baby gifts for us. It is really cool that I can add items that I can’t find on Amazon through the universal registry option. That is sooooo cool! I am having a great time picking out items for my registry and Amazon makes it really easy with suggestions and guides of what I will need for baby.

My little brother is a fish. He swims everyday and loves being in the water. when I saw the Video Swim Mask on the Think Geek website I knew I had to get it for him. He thought it was so awesome when I gave it to him. He said he had never seen anything like it. He used it in his swimming pool. It was really fun watching him take pictures and video underwater and them putting them on the computer and seeing how they turned out. I love that it comes with the batteries needed to operate it. He likes how easy it is to use. The crosshairs help him to know what will be in the picture and the LED helps him to know which mode (still or video) he is in. But the best part is this under water camera is completely hands free. It’s so cool! He loves it and I highly recommend it as a gift!

You Don’t Have to Wait Until Summer to Get Fabulous Beachwear

Who says it has to be the summer season to buy yourself some fabulous beachwear? Go ahead and spoil yourself now because you deserve it. Maybe you live somewhere warm (lucky!) or maybe you are getting ready to go on an exotic vacation (so lucky! I am jealous!). I have to admit I have fallen in love with a stroller. Yes it is true. While I thought it wasn’t possible to love a stroller so much I have now learned what true stroller love is Because I am now the proud owner of a Joovy Ultralight Caboose Stand-On Tandem Stroller. I chose Brownie as my color and it is a great choice. The brown and black look fabulous together and since I don’t know yet if I am expecting a boy or girl it is the perfect gender neutral color choice.

It was really easy to assemble, it took my hubby less than 10 minutes to set it up. You just have to put the wheels on and the canopy and your all set.

I love how easy it is to open and close. This is a must have for me and the strollers I use. It really is effortless. Another great feature is that it folds down pretty flat (especially compared to other tandem strollers) and easily fits in the truck of my car. It is also really light for a double stroller weighing in at only 21 lbs. This is nice because I can easily lift it in and out of the car by myself.

The front seat can be used as a regular stroller seat with 3 levels of recline. It can be used from 6 months to 45 lbs. Or you can use the included universal car seat adapter and put your infant car seat on the front seat. So basically the front seat can can be used from birth up to 45 lbs. My 4 year old can fit in the front seat well and the canopy is high enough that his head doesn’t touch.

Your older child can ride on the back either standing or sitting on the bench seat. The bench seat pulls out when they are sitting on it, and pushes in to make room for them to stand on the platform. It also has handles for your child to hold while they are standing. The back seat is suggested to be used from 2.5 years to 45 lbs. It is perfect for your older child who likes to get in and out of the stroller often but still needs to hitch a ride. Something to note is that when the front seat is fully reclined it is hard for your child to sit on the bench seat since they don’t have much room. This isn’t a problem since I just have Bug stand when the front seat is reclined.

I love the canopy coverage. It provides coverage for both the child in the front and the child in the back. It also folds all the way down to completely cover the child in the front, I love this!

I really like that the Ultralight comes with parent organizer so I have 2 cup holders and a zipper pocket to hold my cell phone, keys, etc…

I am so excited to use this stroller once my new baby arrives. It is the perfect stroller for someone with a baby and an older child who wants independence. I was excited to try out the new Sync Comfort Wrap Carrier. Right off I love the pattern, it is so cute and stands out so much from plain carriers. I’ll be honest Baby wrap carriers intimidate me. Brag Worthy Christmas ~ A Must Have For Traveling With Kids ~ Joovy Foocot Child Cot Review

We have family that live far away, but are still close enough that we go visit them often. When we go we sleep over and once Bug became to big for his playpen I had no idea what to do for a place for him to sleep. We were lugging around a big twin sized air mattress for him to sleep on but it was such a hassle. I was really excited when I saw the Foocot Child Cot by Joovy on their website. This is exactly what I need!

So I got the blueberry color for my little Bug and couldn’t wait for it to arrive (it came very quickly). It came a few days before our trip to Grandma’s house, perfect timing.

I was immediately impressed by how small it is when folded up and it comes in a carrying bag with a strap for easy carrying. It folds and unfolds SUPER EASILY similar to the way a camping chair folds and opens.

So the set up and take down is easy and fast, I love it! I also love that it comes with a super soft fitted sheet. It makes the cot a very comfy and cozy bed.

Another fun feature is that that this cot for kids has two storage pockets on the side. Perfect for holding sippy cups, snacks, books, and anything else your child might want close by.

A good baby carrier is a must have when you have more than one child. Since you have to be helping the other children you will find yourself using your child carrier often so that baby is being held while you get things done. I was recently sent the Nordic Baby Carrier from Lillebaby. Right away I was impressed with this carrier, it has 6 different carrying positions you can use. They are:

1.INFANT CRADLE w/INFANT INSERT
Newborn* to approximately 4 months

I love taking photos. If you could see my collection of photos of Bug alone you would understand that I am somewhat camera happy But I just love capturing memories of my family. I have a Canon camera but up until now I haven’t loved the lens I was using. That was until I received the Tamron 18-270mm all-in-one zoom lens to review.

Right off I fell in love with the zoom range. From 18 mm to 270 mm, that is a huge zoom range and I have been enjoying it so much. Now I don’t have to run over to where Bug is playing to get the adorable shot, I can simply zoom in and snap a great photo. And since it has such a wide zoom range I don’t have to switch lenses, I really love that it is all-in-one.

I have also really been enjoying the VC image stabilization as now I am not capturing a bunch of blurry action photos of my very active little Bug. Before I had this lens I had a problem with blurry pictures often, so I find this so refreshing to have a lens with the VC technology.

Wow this is a fun product! The Boogie Board LCD Tablet is perfect for kids (or adults) who love to draw. Bug enjoys drawing a lot. So when he saw this new drawing board he thought it was pretty cool (and still does). What’s great is it comes with a stylus that makes it so it’s like you are drawing with a pen or pencil. Very cool. Super easy to use, and with the press of a button it erases like magic! I love that it saves so much paper, environmentally friendly is awesome! But my favorite use for this is with Bug while we travel. It is perfect for in the car, while running errands, at the doctors office, etc…it keeps him occupied and he really enjoys drawing on it. It is the perfect size for putting in my purse as well making it really convenient to bring along.

Carrying baby can be tiring so having a baby carrier is a must. I was recently sent the Britax Baby Carrier with CarryLong System and immediately fell in love with it.
