I received a LectroFan Jr. for my review. All opinions are my own.
I have been a big fan of using noise machines to help my babies and kids get a good night’s sleep. Having a background noise allows them to sleep better even when the rest of the family is up and making noise. So I was really excited to try the LectroFan Jr.nursery rhyme tones, white noise, and fan sound machine. We got it in pink which is perfect for my daughter’s room.
“A Better Night’s Sleep For The Whole Family”
The LectroFan Jr. comes with a power cord, which is a USB as well as a wall plug in. It plays 18 nursery rhyme tones, 6 fan sounds, and 6 white noise variations. You can adjust the volume and even set a sleep timer.
As far as the nursery rhymes go, they are very simple and digital sounds. Think back to how ring tones sounded when cell phones first came out. Another way to describe the songs is that they are very similar to the songs played from the ice cream truck.(my kids joke that it would be funny to put this outside and play it, making all the kids come running for ice cream. I of course won’t let them, that would be mean). I don’t think the songs would be soothing for a baby to go to sleep, but my daughter likes listening to the songs sometimes when she is playing in her room. She likes that she recognizes most of the songs and can sing along.
Also, check out this other best white noise machine for babies.
But the fan and white noises are great. They are perfect for drowning out any noises from outside her room and helping her to get a good sleep, which in turn helps me get a good night sleep as well. I like that I can adjust the volume to the level that is just right for her. I also really like that it is small and compact which makes it perfect for traveling.
