These Dolls Cry Tears FOR REAL! Cry Babies Dolls Review

I received these dolls for my review.  All opinions are my own.

My 2 daughters are obsessed with baby dolls.  They love playing ‘mommy’ taking care of their ‘babies’.  It is actually really cute and very sweet to see how loving and caring they are. So as you can imagine, my 2 baby doll loving beauties were pretty excited to get 2 fun new dolls, unlike any doll they have had before. Because these dolls CRY TEARS FOR REAL! It’s pretty cool and very cute.

Check out our unboxing video. In the video, we also show you the dolls crying.

To make the babies cry: you fill up the baby with water through a spot on the back of the baby’s head. It has a screw cap like a water bottle. It is nice that the costume it comes with has a hood (I’m sure this was intentional), but it is nice that you don’t see this spot once the hood is on. Make sure when you fill it up that you have the pacifier in the babies mouth.  The pacifier is what keeps the tears from flowing.

Like I just said above, when you remove the baby’s pacifier it will start crying tears.  To make them stop you insert the pacifier again.  The doll makes a crying noise in addition to the tears.  The doll also makes happy noises in addition and it doesn’t always cry when the pacifier is out.  Ours cried for the first couple of minutes non-stop but that didn’t last, now it is more periodic.  But if the pacifier is in the baby’s mouth it won’t make any crying noises at all.

The tears are a really fun feature that is a big hit with my daughters. It definitely makes this a unique and fun doll for them to play with.

My girls love these Cry Baby dolls they are so much fun and I definitely recommend them to any child that loves dolls!

Cry Babies are now available online and at major toy retailers.
