Between 10 and 12 is the sweet spot for a family trip to somewhere like Disney World. You can get away with your kids being a little older as long as they’re holding onto their childlike whimsy. If they’re too young they won’t really remember the trip, and if they’re too old they’re more likely to get bored.

If you don’t fancy braving the mad queues of Disney World or a similar location you could think about planning a tropical retreat. You could even avoid the crowds completely by planning your own yacht charter in Bahamas. This is a luxurious and wonderful way to explore a tropical paradise like these incredible islands. It will also give you a lot more freedom and isolation on your next family adventure.
Villa In Nowhere
If you are wanting to escape from everything and give your children the space they need to exert all their energy, then how about renting a private villa. Villas are much nicer than hotels as the only people you will see are the ones you go away with. You can also get villas with private pools and hot tubs, as well as pool tables. Giving you no excuse to leave the grounds, you and your family will be busy making heaps of memories.
