Joovy Caboose VaryLight Graphite Stand-On Tandem Stroller Review

I have owned (and still own) several Joovy strollers. They are a great brand and I know I can always count on their quality and great customer service. So naturally, I was very excited to receive this new stroller from Joovy for my review. Seeing the features of the Joovy Caboose VaryLight Graphite Stand-On Tandem Stroller I was impressed but now that I have tried it out I can easily say it is my favorite Joovy Stroller so far!

Assembling the stroller was VERY EASY. I had to put the bar through the back bottom, put on a washer on each side and snap the back wheels on. It was actually the easiest back wheel assembly I have seen for a stroller. Then I just had to snap the front wheels in place as well as the canopy. All of this took me less than 10 minutes.

I love the way it looks, the graphite frame looks so sleek and modern!

Probably my favorite feature it that it expands from a smaller more compact stroller to a longer tandem.

My kids actually fit using it both ways. Here you see my son sitting on it when it is in the compact position.

And here he is sitting on it with it extended giving him more room. He is definitely more comfortable when it is extended.

It is really simply to extend. You just flip the white tab open on both sides, then you squeeze the tab just under the front seat, pull the stroller out and close the tabs. Then to close it you open the tabs again and squeeze the tab under the front seat, push it back to compact and close the tabs.

I like that it shows green when you have it fully opened and fully closed.

I love how much use you can get out of this stroller. From birth (with a car seat adapter, sold separately) all the way up to an older child! In fact my 6 year old still fits comfortably standing on the back as well as sitting down on the back seat. He can even easily stand while the stroller is at it’s compact size.

I was impressed because he is just under the 55 lb. weight limit for the back so I thought it might be hard to push with him in it. Surprisingly it still moves very well even with a big child on the back.

I really appreciate how lightweight it is. It weighs in at just 33.9 lbs. which is light for a double stroller. I am able to lift it in and out of my trunk easily which is a must for me.

I also like how easy it is to close

Both seats have seat belt straps to keep your little safe and in their seat when needed.

The storage basket underneath is large enough to fit my diaper bag. It can even extend out further when you aren’t using it for a second child in the back giving you more storage space.

The front seat has a tray with 2 cup holders and a center area that is great for holding little snacks and toys.

I love that it is really easy to open and close the tray to get your child in and out. You just squeeze the tab underneath and it easily lifts up and out. It snaps back into place just as easily.

I was also sent the Caboose VaryLight Parent Organizer & Cup Holders (sold separately) to review. In my opinion, this is a must have addition for this stroller.

It is great because it has 2 bottle holders as well as a pocket which is perfect for holding your phone or keys. It also comes with 2 cup holders that attach in front where the child sits. So when you aren’t using the tray on front you can still have cup holders for the kiddos.

It also comes with 2 covers to put on it you don’t want to use the tray or the cup holders.

I am loving this Stand-On Tandem Stroller and highly recommend it! You can truly use this stroller from the birth of one baby to another joining the family making it the perfect stroller for a growing family!
