I and 7 of my friends were able to see an advanced screening of the new movie The Best of Me which is now in theaters!
The Best of Me stars James Marsden as Dawson Cole, Michelle Monaghan as Amanda Collier, Liana Liberato as a Young Amanda Collier, Luke Bracey as a Young Dawson Cole and many more wonderful actors.
In this movie I laughed, I cried and I really felt for some of these characters! Dawson grew up thinking he was nothing and his Dad and family let him know it all the time. BUT Dawson did not let that define who he was. He was a smart, intelligent guy that fell in love with pretty, smart and rich Amanda Collier. My friends and I absolutely loved this movie which is based on the novel by Nicholas Sparks ( The Notebook etc.). I really loved how one minute your laughing, the next crying and wondering what is going to happen to these characters that you fall in love with. I think my favorite character was Dawson and the relationship that he develops with Tuck played by Gerald McRaney. I don’t want to give anything away, but they become unlikely friends and it is a really sweet story.
