A Fun Travel Bed for Your Child ~ KidCo PeaPod Plus Review and Giveaway

We have family that we travel to visit often. So I am always on the lookout for products that will make traveling with and staying over night with my kids easier. When I saw the KidCo PeaPod Plus I couldn’t wait to try it out with my daughter who is 2. She is now too big to sleep in her playard and so the PeaPod Plus is perfect for her.

I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived and I saw that it is already assembled and ready for use. Opening it was very easy and I love that it can be set up and ready so quickly.

My daughter was very excited about her new travel bed. The fact that it is her own little tent makes it very fun for her.

I like that there is ventilation all along the bottom sides so I know she is getting plenty of air flow as she sleeps.

It also has little windows on each end. Along with the door those can be rolled and held open.

We used the bed when we were on a trip over the holidays. She slept really well in it and I love the convenience of having a child’s travel bed that is so small and lightweight. It makes bringing it really simple and takes up minimal space in the car. Or if you are flying it can fit right in your suitcase.

Be aware that the mat on the bottom is very thin. It is pretty much like your child is sleeping on the ground. This didn’t seem to bother my daughter but it is something to be aware of. Also for safety reasons it is all one piece (no removable mat) so I just laid a blanket out on the bottom. Since it is slippery her blanket did move around a lot and she woke up a couple times during the nights we were there and I had to fix it.

We are happy with the KidCo PeaPod Plus and feel it is a great travel bed for kids ages 1-5 when you are looking for a compact and lightweight option for traveling.
