Having a baby is such a wonderful time. I remember those first few days and weeks with my new baby and they are cherished memories. One thing I didn’t know when my babies were young, was just how many chemicals can be inside of baby products. It wasn’t until after my son was out of his baby stages, and my daughter was a baby that I started to realize all the chemicals that many baby products contain. That is when I realized that I needed to be more careful about what I exposed my baby to. Not only that, but also the products I expose my children to even when they are out of their baby years.

I was really excited to learn about WaterWipes. They are completely chemical free baby wipes. In fact they only contain 2 ingredients: 99.9% purified water, and 0.1% grapefruit seed extract. It is so comforting to be able to read and pronounce all the ingredients in these wipes. My daughter has sensitive skin, as well as problems with eczema so I couldn’t wait to try these wipes out with her.

Even though my daughter is no longer a baby, she is still messy and we still use wipes regularly. I really like that WaterWipes have been awarded the Seal of Acceptance by the National Eczema Association. My daughters sensitive skin can dry out really easily and so I have to be careful what I use on her skin. I like using the WaterWipes because it is so gentle and I don’t have to worry about her skin getting irritated or dried out like other wipes have done in the past.

I like that I can grab these wipes to wipe her hand and face, it is nice to have a pack in my diaper bag. I also use WaterWipes to help out when she gets a rash on her bottom. These wipes are especially great for a bottom rash since chemicals and alcohol found in other baby wipe brands can actually make diaper rash worse, but WaterWipes only clean the area and don’t add to the discomfort or rash due to their chemical free ingredients.

One thing I have noticed is that WaterWipes can possibly dry out quicker than other wipes that I have used in the past. But because they are chemical free, I understand why and I am definitely okay with this. I just make sure I use them within the recommended month as the package states. Also keeping them in their original packaging is best, they don’t do well in other wipe packages. And when they are unopened they last well up to 15 months.

I like knowing that I am using a product with natural chemical free ingredients. I wish I would have had WaterWipes when my kids were babies. I definitely recommend WaterWipes to all parents!
