Keep It Hands Free While Driving with the Papalook Universal Magnetic Car Mount Smartphone Holder

I have been needing a mount for my smartphone for use in my car for a while now. I was introduced to the Papalook Universal Magnetic Car Mount Smarphone Holder recently and really liked the fact that it was A: inexpensive, and B: simple to install and use.

It comes with: the mount, instructions, a sticker to protect your phone, and a sticker magnet.

It is nice that it is small and can be installed or uninstalled in just seconds. First you attach the included clear sticker to protect your phone or your phone case (that is the yellow square shown in the images, but it is actually a clear circle sticker), then you attach the sticker magnet on top of the protective sticker.

Next take the mount and slide it onto your car’s air vent. You can change the mount angle by adjusting the mount face and then tightening the ring on the back. Then, attach your phone and you are good to go!

It is designed to be able to fit onto all car vents.

My husband and I have both been using this smartphone holder for the car and really like it. He put the sticker magnet on his phone case since he has a thicker case and the sticker magnet is strong and holds well.

I have been using it with just the magnet that is already built into my Samsung Galaxy S8. I have a cover on it so it holds, but not quite as well as my husband’s phone using the sticker magnet that comes with it. I haven’t had any big issues with it dropping as long as I line the magnets up well (see below).

With either option I have found that you need to make sure the magnet on your phone is lined up right with the mount. The mount’s magnet is really strong so you might feel like it is holding it, only to have the phone drop. This is due to only part of your phones magnet (or the sticker magnet) grasping the magnet, once it is actually centered on the magnet we haven’t had any problems with it falling.
