I’m a mom as well as a home early childcare provider, so you can imagine how excited to I was to find out about Antsy Pants Build and Play Kits! They meet all my favorite requirements for a fabulous toys:
Easy to store – this is so important to me, because we have a pretty small house, yet I watch other kids here. So rotating toys is KEY. Not only to keep the clutter at bay, toys are so much more entertaining to kids when they’re always rotating. So big win here- the poles, connectors, and cover store SO small and easily!
Encourages the imagination- this is so important for kids- they learn through play. Play is everything, and the further they can stretch their imagination the better.
No lights, sounds, or screens. Bonus points for any toy that keeps kids fully entertained without those three.
Durable. Kids are rough, this is no secret. If something breaks, then it’s worthless. So durability is so important.
Versatile. Anything that can be used in multiple ways is fabulous- keep the play going within the same product saves money, storage, and clutter!

I am a mom to two sweet elementary-school boys named Harrison & Ruben. They are my greatest gift! I have a degree in Early Childhood Education, and my life revolves around little people- I work as a nanny as well as being a mom.
