“Pepi Play” is a small, family managed studio which creates applications for children and families. The founders of the studio were fascinated to watch their kids playing with an iPad and decided to create something meaningful for it. An artist and digital media specialist applied their skills to create the very first app and following its success a brand new studio was founded.
That’s how the first “Pepi Play” game “Pepi Bath” was created. The app has been praised by teachers, parents, and special needs specialists. Emails from happy parents as well as numerous awards and accolades inspired us to create cute and safe digital toys for children. Yes, you read that right, toys, not games! Toys, whereas all “Pepi Play” apps avoid gameplay elements such as daily tasks, high-score, win / lose situations, or quests. We do that on purpose, to boos inspiration by allowing kids to play their own way.
Almost a decade later we have millions of fans that appreciate our views. Yet, we’re the same boutique sized studio with extreme attention to detail and quality over quantity principles.
From day one we are focused on creating safe, responsible and rich interactive experiences for little players and their parents. We believe that children learn better when they do things they like and playing makes the process of learning more meaningful and interesting for a child.
Currently we create two types of applications: routine games for toddlers and dollhouse games for preschoolers. The award-winning “Pepi Bath”, for example, enjoys universal acclaim from parents, teachers and professionals working with special needs children. In dollhouse series our flagship product is “Pepi Wonder World”. Designed for preschoolers this app sparks creativity and helps develop storytelling skills.
