Causes of Stomach Pain & How to Relieve It Quickly

Stomach and digestive issues can result in a variety of unwanted symptoms. Along with pain, common symptoms include gas, bloating, diarrhea, constipation, nausea, and vomiting. There are many different causes of stomach pain, and some cause more acute issues, while others cause chronic problems. The good news is that there are numerous ways to relieve it quickly, such as Polisorb and natural remedies such as herbs or avoiding certain foods.

What Causes Stomach Pain?

A simple cause of stomach pain may be gas. Gas bubbles build up when food is eaten too quickly or you drink through a straw. Certain foods, such as beans, broccoli, brussel sprouts, dairy, gum, and processed foods, are common perpetrators.

The flu may cause pain in the stomach. This is typically accompanied by fever, nausea, and vomiting. Constipation also causes stomach discomfort, even pain. Common reasons for constipation include not enough fiber, decreased physical activity, lack of water, and certain medication.

Too many sit-ups or doing abdominal exercises incorrectly can lead to stomach pain. So can menstrual cramps or endometriosis.

There are certain medical conditions that can cause pain or distress in the digestive system. These conditions include acid reflux, celiac disease, irritable bowel syndrome, bladder infection, crohn’s disease, stomach ulcer, and GERD.

Polisorb Relieves Tummy Aches Quickly & Easily

If a stomach ache seems to be due to certain foods, an imbalanced diet, a foodborne illness, or general unhealthiness, it may be time for a detox. Polisorb goes through your digestive tract and binds to toxins, bad bacteria, viruses, and allergens. Polisorb then rids the body of these toxins, leaving the good bacteria behind. Taking it can relieve stomach aches quickly, and often within 10 or 15 minutes.

If you are looking to balance your digestive system, refer to a detox website. This can give you guidance on how to do a detox cleanse safely.

Other Natural Remedies for Stomach Pain

A digestive tract cleanse is not the only option for relieving stomach pain. There are numerous home remedies. Certain teas contain herbs that have healing and soothing properties. Some include:

  • Chamomile – chamomile is an anti-inflammatory and can help with indigestion and gastritis
  • Peppermint – the menthol in peppermint is an analgesic and can ease nausea and pain
  • Ginger – as an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant, ginger can help neutralize stomach acid and relieve nausea

Taking probiotic supplements or probiotic-containing food, such as yogurt and kefir, can help with indigestion over time, as it supports the growth of good bacteria. If stomach pain is due to constipation, prunes or prune juice is effective. Apple cider vinegar is good for stomach pain caused by gastric reflux because it improves the levels of stomach acid.

For some people, certain foods can lead to stomach pain. Causes may include spices, dairy, gluten, and nightshade vegetables. Avoiding or limiting these will help.

For pain relating to a pulled muscle or cramps, applying a warm compress may help. If you do not have a compress, a warm washcloth or bath will work as well.

If you suffer from frequent stomach pain, try to identify what makes it worse so you know how to fix it. You may need medical attention, a change in diet, or a detox cleanse.
