I received a Strider Sport Balance Bike for this review, all opinions are my own.
My girls have loved being outside especially when it has been so nice this Fall. Charlotte was a little jealous that Leah had a bike and she didn’t. So Strider sent us a Strider Sport Balance Bike to review and she was so excited! Charlotte couldn’t wait to try out her new bike and show Leah that she now has a bike too!
This bike would be perfect for under the Christmas Tree! I love how well made and that it comes in lots of different colors.
Charlotte is my very cautious child so I wasn’t even sure she would get on it and try it out. But she knew exactly what to do! I had her put a helmet on and then she was all set to go! What I noticed about the balance bike first was how perfectly Charlotte fit onto it. The seat is adjustable and can be moved up to 48″ which is nice! This is the kind of bike that can grow with Charlotte it’s for ages 18 months-5 years. The bike also comes with a smaaller seat to fit smaller kids and then the seat Charlotte uses is extra long. I also noticed how easily Charlotte was able to balance on the bike. It took a few tries to get her to actually sit down on the seat and move but by the end she was really comfortable with the bike.
Unique 12.7mm steel handlebar is 43% smaller than standard to allow better control with tiny hands. Custom logo mini-grips are soft urethane with protective ends. Machined-aluminum quick release allows “No Tools” height adjustment from 46-56cm (18-22”).
Strider-exclusive, ultralight one-piece wheels sport a raised-letter, five-spoke design with 10 bearing support gussets for maximum strength at the lightest weight possible.
Top-quality sealed cartridge bearings roll smooth and never need adjustment.
EVA polymer (industrial foam) tires are super light and durable yet offer a smooth ride. Best of all, they never need air and will never go flat.
The durable, all-weather mini-saddle is designed specifically for beginning riders and their tiny hips. Smaller, narrower, and lighter than a typical saddle, this seat allows for proper riding position and posture. ** The Sport model also includes a padded XL saddle and long seatpost to fit kids over 3 years and allows seat height adjustments up to 48cm (19”).

Machined aluminum quick release allows “No Tools” saddle height adjustment from 28-41cm (11-16”) for the perfect fit for your child.
Unique, frame-integrated footrests are properly positioned directly below the saddle for natural bike balance. This position also fosters the advanced ability to stand while gliding as well as pumping and jumping the bike.
Strider-exclusive rear brake mount allows the addition of a foot-operated brake once the kids are proficiently gliding with feet on the footrests. Brake sold separately.” (Strider Bike Website)The Strider Bike is a great starter bike that kids who don’t know how or are maybe scared to learn to ride a bike can use! Charlotte absolutely loves her new bike.
