With summer break in full force, my kids need something to keep them busy. Of course, there activity of choice would be to watch television or play on electronics all day long, but that is definitely what I want for them. I was really excited to review some games from Winning Moves, and my kids are loving the them as well!!
We received several different games and they are all perfect for my wide range of children (and even mom and dad). The first game that I chose to review is Guess Who. It is such a nostalgic part of my childhood, and I couldn’t wait to show my kids a game that I played at their age. It’s a very simple game that even my 4 year old can understand how to play so it is fun for everyone. The thing I love about Guess Who is that it requires very little set-up time and the game doesn’t last forever. That is important when you have kids who lose interest pretty quickly.
“Beloved 1980’s version of the classic mystery face game! There’s a mystery person on your opponent’s card. Can you find the matching face in the crowd?”
Another game we received from Winning moves is Sunk. This is a new game that my 2 youngest kids absolutely LOVE! It does require some reading, which means my 4 year old needs a bit of help playing this one, but it’s a fun simple game that involves water….does it get anymore exciting than that? Because this game in involves water, I like to send my kids out to the deck to play it. This way there are no spills and drips that I have to clean up.
“A unique social, skill and action game where the task is to add water – one drop at a time – to the cup floating in the water filled Sunk tank, without causing it to sink.”
We also were sent the game Cranium Cadoo. I love all of Cranium’s games, so I knew this one would be no different. It’s great for my three oldest kids, but my 4 year old can join in with a little help from the others. We also enjoy playing this game with the family. Just like many other Cranium games, this one involves lots of fun activities that keep my kids busy and interested. It’s lots of fun for everyone!!
“The original version is back by popular demand and todays kids will be puzzling, sketching, sculpting, acting and code-cracking with the Cranium Cadoo game.”
Winning Moves has a large selection of family games of all types and they add to it continually. They have everything from Hasbro Games to Rubik’s Puzzles so you’re sure to find something for everyone! They are super affordable as well which we all know is really important! Something I really appreciate about ordering games from Winning Moves is that they offer replacement parts for certain games. For instance, if we ever lose a Guess Who face card, we can get them replaced (for a fee of course). If you are a parent, you know how crucial it is to have access to replacement pieces for games like this. If you are looking for a way to keep your kids busy this summer, head on over to Winning Moves and grab a few games for lots of family fun!!
