Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2 Review ~ See it in Theaters Today

Leah absolutely loves going to the movies! She has been wanting to see Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 ever since she saw the previews months ago. So when we were asked to go review the movie Leah could not wait! Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 is rated PG and is recommended for kids of all ages.

I decided not to tell Leah until a day before so she didn’t ask me everyday if we were going. Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 is one of the best animated sequels that I have seen in a long time. Leah couldn’t stop laughing at all of the super funny parts. In fact her favorite part was when Flint (Played by Bill Hader) and Sam (played by Anna Faris) are sent back to the island to check out the foodimals and they find the giant strawberry.

Well of course the giant strawberry turns out to be a really cute strawberry with big eyes!  Flint starts screaming and all the strawberry does is blink her eyes as Flint continues to scream!  She still talks about how funny that part is! I really loved when Flint’s Dad Tim Lockwood (played by James Caan) has his first encounter with a pickle….I will leave it at that!

This movie was really well done. I did think a couple of the jokes were over Leah’s head but she still laughed because the audience and I were all laughing.

Another really great part of the movie is when the whole gang is floating down the river and you get to see all of the different foodimals that were made! From the Dinosaur leaks to the potato hippos. You can tell that each foodimal is unique and different. I really love how the story all came together, it’s perfect for the family.
