Easy Gluten Free Cheesy Cornbread Recipe + Krusteaz Gluten Free Prize Pack Giveaway

I enjoy using ready to go mixes when baking. It makes cooking for my family so much simpler and on busy days all I can do is simple. I have been a fan of Krusteaz mixes for years and use their mixes often. I was happy to learn that Krusteaz now has Gluten Free mixes!

I was sent an awesome pack of these new Gluten Free mixes to try out. Honey Cornbread Mix, Double Chocolate Brownie Mix, Buttermilk Pancake Mix and Blueberry Muffins.

I was pleasantly surprised at how great they taste. I made the brownies for my family and they didn’t even know that they were Gluten Free. They just gobbled them up.

I wanted to add a little to the Cornbread mix (even though it is delicious on it’s own). So here is my recipe…

Easy Gluten Free Cheesy Cornbread Recipe

Prep Time: 10 minutes — Cooking Time: 35 minutes — Serves: 6

Ingredients:

Krusteaz Honey Cornbread Mix

1/2 Cup Milk

1/2 Cup Sour Cream (make sure the brand you get is Gluten Free)

1 Egg

1/3 Cup Vegetable Oil

I can of Sweet Corn

1 Cup Cheddar Cheese

Directions:

Pre-heat your oven to 375 degrees. Lightly spray your baking dish (I used a 1.5 quart oval dish). Mix together the Krusteaz gluten free honey cornbread mix, milk, sour cream, egg, and oil. Drain the can of corn and add it to the mixture. Add the cheese to the mixture. Spoon mixture into your baking dish. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes or until it is golden brown on top and a toothpick comes out clean from the center.
