flipflop wines: to each, their own
“With flipflop wines, we have embraced the movement toward individualistic expression, instead of manufacturing wines into some cookie-cutter style that’s all the rage. Our goal is to craft expressive, well-balanced wines that evoke just what the grapes inside intended, without being over-wrought or over-explained, and that can be enjoyed at any occasion.”
At the end of a busy day I really love to relax and have a glass of wine. I was recently introduced to flipflop wines and tried the Pinot Grigio, Riesling, and Pinot Noir. I have to tell you that I loved them all. The Pinot Grigio is best served chilled and is a medium dry to medium sweet wine. It goes great with Bruschetta, Spaghetti Carbonara or eggplant parmesan. The Riesling is best served chilled and is a medium sweet to sweet wine. It goes well with Tofu stir-fry, shredded pork tacos and sake sashimi. The Pinot Noir is best served at room temperature and is a dry to medium dry wine. It goes well with grilled mahi mahi, bacon wrapped shrimp or chocolate chip cookies. I highly recommend these three flipflop
