“Forever My Girl tells the story of country music super-star Liam Page (Alex Roe) who left his bride, Josie (Jessica Rothe), at the altar choosing fame and fortune instead. However, Liam never got over Josie, his one true love, nor did he ever forget his Southern roots in the small community where he was born and raised. When I saw the trailer for Forever My Girl, I thought that it looked like it had potential to be a really cute chick flick. After viewing Forever My Girl there were some things that I liked about it but overall, I thought the movie was just okay.
I am not a huge fan of country music but I enjoyed the music in the film. I was impressed that Alex Roe, who played the main character Liam Page, actually performed the songs. I thought he did a great job.
I loved Abby Ryder Fortson, who played the little girl Billy in the film. She was so cute and stole every scene she was in.
Forever My Girl is just a normal, predictable chick flick. If you like these types of movies, you will probably enjoy it!
