I am big fan of the first GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY film and I have been pretty excited to see the GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2. Although I enjoyed the first film more, I had fun watching GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2.

I love the actors in these films. I think that they are all cast well and have great chemistry. I thought that Kurt Russell as Ego and Pom Klementieff as Mantis were great additions to the cast. For me, the character of Baby Groot totally steals the show. The parts of the film that focused on him were some of the most fun and hilarious of the film.

The action in this movie was great with fantastic special effects. I saw the movie in IMAX 3D. It was fun to watch the movie this way but I do not think it is necessary to see it in this format.

I laughed a ton watching this movie. I will say though, I thought this movie was more crass and crude than its predecessor. I took my friend to it who has young boys at home and they love the first film. She is not sure if she is going to let them see this newest one due to the crude sexual humor in the film. The amount of violence is the same as most of the Marvel movies.
