My son and I couldn’t wait to try out Sifteo Cubes, they looked like so much fun online! The bog box (pictures above) comes with 3 Sifteo Cubes and a speaker. You can also purchase additional cubes like the little box (pictured above). You can play the games with 3 cubes or add more. So we have 4 cubes total to play with. When I opened the box I found the 3 cubes, a carrying bag to keep our cubes in, batteries, start up instructions, and a code for a free download for another game (Sandwich Kingdom).
It comes with 4 games pre-installed so you can start playing with your Sifteo Cubes right out of the box! Chroma Splash, Cube Buddies, Code Cracker, and Word Caravan.
I also downloaded Sandwich Kingdom and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to our Sifteo Cubes. I found it really easy to navigate the cubes menu.
Adding the games is really simple as well. You first have to download some Sifteo software (Sifteo Sync) to your computer, you plug in your speaker via USB to your computer. Purchase the games, download them to your computer, then add them to your cubes. I didn’t have any trouble and it was really quick and easy.
My son and I started playing right away. These cubes are recommend for ages 7 and up. My son is only 5 but has a great time playing with the cubes. He just requires help from me to read the screen on the games and to help him figure out what to do next. Once I teach him he can play on his own and has enjoyed a lot of play time by himself coming to me periodically when he needs help. His favorite game is Cube Buddies, he has fun fixing the faces. It is a great way for him to problem solve and use his memory as well.
I love that the games challenge his skills through word building, math problems, etc… I like that he is learning as he plays.
I have also enjoyed playing with the cubes. It is such a fun way to play puzzle type games. The cubes have different functions you can use during game play. Neighboring them (set the cubes close next to each other), press, tilt, and shake. I like how you use these different functions in different games.
The games are all really fun to play and the thing I am most impressed with is that we haven’t had any problems with our cubes. Since it is a technology based game system I think that is really impressive.

We have been having a blast playing with our Sifteo Cubes and I know we will continue to have many hours of fun ahead. I highly recommend Sifteo Cubes!
