My 5 year old son has never played Jenga, so Jenga Boom is a really fun way to introduce the game to him! It takes the regular version and puts an ‘explosive’ twist on it. You build the Jenga tower just like you do in the regular version, only you are building it on top of a detonator! You pull the string to set the detonator, raise the platform and then build your tower. Each player presses the start button then takes their turn, once they have placed their block on top of the tower, they press the stop button. The person who’s turn it is when it “explodes” loses. This game is recommended for ages 6+ and can be played with 1 or more players.
I love the product packaging, the dynamite box (looks a lot like a firework) is so cute! My son and I had a blast playing it together. When the tower “explodes” when the time runs out it always scares us and then we laugh. So much fun! My son is a big Jenga fan now and LOVES Jenga Boom. He will play by himself and just build the tower and let it explode. It’s very entertaining for him. It makes a great party game as well!
