Holidays are such a fun time. For our family it means road trip time! We love taking trips to visit family during the holiday season but with 2 little ones it can be a little harder than with just mom and dad 
So here are some of the ways I keep my kids entertained on our road trips:
- Plan Plan Plan. Make sure you have a lot of options for entertainment for your kids and that you have all the chargers and extra batteries handy so you don’t have to pay gas station prices or make unnecessary stops.
- DVD players rule! Or laptops, etc…any device that can play movies for your kids while on the road. It makes an hour or two fly by for your kiddos.
- Pack headphones. Without these you will be stuck listening to the entire 7th season of SpongeBob, and no one wants that to happen to you
- Kids tablet. I recently invested in a kids tablet for my son and it is awesome! He can play on it for hours on end, perfect for entertaining him on a long road trip.
- Snacks. This is a must have for kids on a road trip. It helps to avoid extra stopping for the “I’m hungry”
