Magnutto Make a Mood by Neat-Oh!

A2216XX_MJ_MakeAMood_PKG2_Apr.20.16_HiRes300dpi

I received these items for review, all opinions are my own.

My girls love to play pretend and making faces is their specialty! I have discovered that they can now read my expression and sometimes that’s good and sometimes it’s bad. Leah can now tell when I am super happy and of course when I am in a bad mood or maybe sad about something. BUT this is the perfect time to talk to her and Charlotte about feelings in a fun way!

I love the new Magnutto Make a Mood sets by Neat-Oh! The girls favorite is the Make a Pet! They love to switch out the expressions on the dogs and cats. I have been asking them to show me how they feel by using these, they love it!

“Magnutto™ Make a Pet is designed to help children identify, express, understand and respond to feeling and emotions. Every feeling has a face™. Sometimes exploring feelings and emotions using animal pets is easier and more fun! Children use thick, foam, low-strength, safe magnets to create animal pet facial expressions and represent a variety of emotions and feelings. The sturdy easel box opens to a magnetic easel and closes to store all the magnets when play is done. Multi lingual activity cards (English, Spanish, French) include samples questions for role play and to engage children in conversations about emotions, as well as a list of emotions and examples of animal pet expressions.
Sample questions: “Have you felt that way?” “What do you do when you feel that way?”
A truly fun way to explore moods, feelings and emotions. Neat-Oh! Magnutto Make a Pet – Every feeling has a face” (Magnutto website)

“Whether it’s a woof or a meow, kids just “get” their pets and their wagging tails. Learning empathy for our furry friends is a good thing, too. Using thick foam magnets, youngsters can create pet facial expressions with floppy ears, black noses and expressive eyes. There is a sturdy easel box to use and reuse. A list of emotions and examples of animal pet expressions is included.” (Magnutto press release)

They have 2 other sets the Make a Mood and Make a Dino which are equally as fun!
