Oh the joys of potty training! It is an up and down process. There have been several times now that we have begun the potty training process but it didn’t work out. I thought my daughter was ready, she showed many signs. But ultimately she wasn’t. But that is totally fine with me. I am all about waiting until my child is completely ready to train. I don’t push it. It worked great with my son and so I will wait with my daughter. When she is ready it will happen. And I am perfectly fine trying and waiting, whatever works for her.
Lately she has been noticing a lot more when she is going potty in her diaper. She will tell me that she is going. I am trying to help her to understand that she needs to tell me before she starts going so we can make it to the potty in time. We have had a few times this round that she has been successful and made it to the potty. I am so proud of her! 
Because it is not a quick process for us to potty train, I am all for wearing training pants. I can’t have accidents that aren’t easy to clean up (I just don’t have time!). So Pull-Ups are a must have for us.
My daughter loves the characters on her pack of Pull-Ups. They feature Minnie Mouse, The Little Mermaid and Monsters Inc. She was so excited when we opened the pack and she saw all her “friends” on her big girl training pants.
It really helps having training pants that make her excited to wear them. That is what these do. She will say, “now I want to wear Ariel” and loves picking them out.
I also love that Pull-Ups Big Kids Academy has so many great resources, tools and ways to make potty training fun. This helps a lot as well.
Right now I am loving the Time to Potty app. It has a timer to help remind you when it’s time to potty. I used to set a timer when I was training my son and it was super helpful. So I love having an app on my phone that is super easy to use. When a potty break comes you get to celebrate with a mini game (over 40) and some have fun Disney characters. My daughter loves this and it makes potty training even more fun! Another great thing about the app is that it automatically adjusts with your child’s progress. It’s really great.
