I was sent a Blendtec Designer Series Blender and Twister Jar to review, all opinions are my own.
I decided that this year I really wanted to start the school year of right. I wanted Leah and Charlotte to eat healthier snacks and actually get full from them! My girls are not big veggie or fruit eaters. They are both getting a lot better than they used to be. I had heard so many awesome things about the Blendtec Designer Series blender that I of course contacted them. What I immediately loved about the blender I received is how easy to use it is! On the panel there are pictures of what you need to push in order to make that item. So Ice Cream, Shake, Smoothie, soup and more!
I decided to try and make the girls a healthy smoothie and sneak in some spinach! A lot of my friends are on the Green Smoothie kick and so of course I jumped on the band wagon. I added frozen strawberries, bananas, spinach and ice and that was it! The girls absolutely devoured them! I was shocked they never even knew that there was veggies in it!
The Blendtec blender was in incredibly easy to use, I couldn’t believe how well it blended the spinach up in a matter of 30 seconds!

What I also loved was how easy it was to clean it up! The food just wipes right off and the jar is a heavy duty plastic, so easy to clean.
I also received the twister jar which attaches onto the base of the Blendtec blender.
The twister jar is a great way to make single servings or in my case 2 little girl servings of smoothies, milk shakes etc. I decided to go with the Strawberry Sorbet recipe that I found in the Twister Jar booklet. Basically it is frozen strawberries, tad bit of sugar and coconut milk, blended up and it is as smooth as can be! I loved this because I am lactose intolerant and this was made with coconut milk , delicious!
The Twister Jar can also be used to make hummus, nut butter and more! I can’t wait to make some hummus…yummy!

I have absolutely loved our Blendtec blender! What is great is that this machine can make everythying from soup to nut butter to shakes, you name it!
