What I love most about Mustela products is that their priority ingredients are natural in origin and are free of ingredients that are questionable like parabens, phthalates and phenoxyethanol. They use healthcare professionals to partner with them in creating their formulas. Even better news, recently Mustela has improved it’s Bébé line with a reformulation that now includes Avocado Perseose®. It is a protective ingredient that is exclusive to Mustela products. I was sent some products from the Mustela Bébé product line to try out on my daughter. We tried the Facial Cleansing Cloths, a 2 in 1 Hair & Body Wash, Hydra Bébé Body Lotion and Dermo-Cleansing.
Right off I felt like the smell of the products was a little different. I think I have gotten so used to products with added scents that having something that smelled clean reminded me of a Doctor’s office or a hospital. After using the products on my daughter, I noticed how much I loved the smell of her hair and skin when I was holding her close. These products actually make her smell really great. I wasn’t expecting that with the first smell. So if the smell bothers you at first, take some time to get used to it. I really like it now, and having natural origin ingredients is more important to me than a smell anyway.
I really like all of these products for my daughter. Her skin is clean and soft, and the facial wipes are nice and soft and great for a quick face clean up before bed and in the diaper bag to clean her face when we are out and about.
