This week was a busy one with trying to stay on track. It was my husbands birthday and I really wanted to celebrate it with him. On his birthday we decided to go out to Wendy’s (kid friendly!) and I had a really yummy salad which was actually on the plan! I had made him a birthday cake and was really proud of myself that I did not have any. I like cake but I would rather have one of my Nutrisystem desserts. So while my husband and kids at his birthday cake I had a Nutrisystem chocolate cake with a bit of fat free cool whip…so good!
Then on Friday was our date night and I knew that we might go somewhere that was not all together on the plan. Now we decided to go to a pizza place and I have really been good while on Nutrisystem. Well I decided to have one slice of pizza and a breadstick which of course is not Nutrisystem friendly. I had to let myself indulge just that once but I am back on track and happy to say from my venturing off I didn’t gain anything back thank goodness!
While I was getting ready for our date I decided to check out what I had in my closet that I may have overlooked. I actually found a really cute pair of skinny jeans and a cute top. I haven’t worn either of these items in over a year. Partly because I was pregnant and the other part because I just couldn’t fit into them! I am proud to say that I can fit into both with a little wiggle room! I am seriously so happy with how I have been doing.
I have been really excited getting dressed lately! I don’t have to wear leggings and sweats unless I want to. I also don’t have to wear stretchy jeans unless I want to. I can actually fit back into my clothes and I feel great! There are new things that I am noticing about myself and my body that I didn’t notice before. My friends and family are noticing too and it’s so nice to get complimented! I love that I can fit back into my clothes and I feel like a new me!
So here we are onto the weigh in of the week…
Starting Weight: 150
Week 1- down 6lbs! 144
Week 2- No Loss
Week 3 down 2 lbs 142!
Week 4: down 1 lbs! 141
Week 5: 140.5
Week 6: 139.5
Week 7: 138.5.
Wahoo! I am down 1 lb and feeling great! I also noticed I have lost another inch around the waist!
