P&G Free & Gentle Laundry Products For Sensitive Skin #SecondSkincare

I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for P&G. I received product samples to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation. All opinions and reviews are my own.

My daughter has really sensitive skin.  I have to be careful what lotions or sunscreens I put on her so she doesn’t get a rash or break out.  It is easy to be cautious about lotions I use, but sometimes I forget that how her clothes are washed is just as important.  Since those fabrics are against her sensitive skin all day and night.

Nearly half of adults in the U.S. say they have sensitive skin.  Most people change their skincare products but forget that their laundry products matter as well.  Even those who use detergents free of irritants (87%) still use dryer sheets and fabric softeners with scents which can cause irritation. It is important to use free products in all aspects of your laundry.

I was happy to review the P&G Free & Gentle Laundry Products (which are dermatologist recommended) to help with my daughters sensitive skin.  I was sent Tide Free & Gentle Detergent Pods, Downy Free & Gentle Fabric Softener, and Bounce Free & Gentle Dryer Sheets to try out.

Rather than just washing my daughter’s laundry with these products, I switched to using it for all the family’s laundry.  Right off I love that all of these products are hypoallergenic as well as dye and perfume free.  But still have the same stain fighting and cleaning power of standard Tide, Downy, & Bounce laundry products.

I have been trying these out and have had a great experience.  My clothes are all coming out clean, soft and fresh.  My daughter hasn’t had any skin allergies or reactions which is so great!  I always feel so bad for her when she has a break out. Anything I can do as a mom to keep her comfortable and happy and avoid those is totally worth it.2015-06-09 14.24.54

Another thing I really like is that the Tide Detergent Free & Gentle Pods make it so easy.  I don’t have to measure just toss one in the load.  As a busy mom, I am all for any product that will make my laundry job easier.

With the Downy Free & Gentle Fabric Softener, and Bounce Free & Gentle Dryer Sheets I still get the softness and static removal but without any strong perfumes that can cause my daughter to have an allergic reaction.  I am so glad P&G makes these Free & Gentle laundry products for people with sensitive skin, or are looking for products that are hypoallergenic.  I highly recommend you give them a try.
