To be fully honest I had never heard of hair epliation before. When I opened the Philips SatinPerfect Total Body Cordless Epilator, I was sort of thinking it was just a fancy electric razor, so was surprised it was something totally different. At first, in all honestly, it is painful. Being really unaware about the whole process, it was kind of shocking. But if you bite the bullet, it gets less and less painful as you go, and now that I am just maintaining, it barely hurts at all. And I LOVE having smooth legs! I can’t say whether I think it lasts for weeks, because I know that my hair grows really, really fast. As in, when I shave in the morning, I typically have a 5 o clock leg shadow. It’s already spiky and gross before I know it. So, for me this hair removal system works for about a week, which I’m THRILLED about. I’ve only tried waxing my legs once. And I’m pretty sure I never finished the job. This is so much easier, and less painful. Now that it’s been a few weeks I am SO happy with this system, and will never go back to shaving.
