I received these products for my review. All opinions are my own.
The SafeChild Wristband lets you know when one of your kids wanders off alone or is left unattended. When the child is more than a set distance apart from the parent, an alarm will be activated in the parent’s mobile phone. The alarm activation distance can be adjusted in the free SafeChild App.
The SafeChild wristband device contains a clasp type silicon wristband, electronic Bluetooth module, and CR2032 battery. The device is designed to work with the SafeChild app available from the App Store. The device connects to the phone using Bluetooth protocols and causes a phone alarm to activate when the device is moved a predetermined distance away from the phone. This alarm can be used to alert a person that a child may be unattended.
Know Your Children’s Locations
Know as soon as your child has wandered off alone. The App also keeps track of your child’s last known location.
Home Locations
You can set Home Locations where alarms will not be activated. This eliminates unnecessary alarms in places where your children are normally safe.
Keeping kids safe is always a huge priority for parents- but how do you do it? Times have changed- parents used to be able to let their children run around the neighborhood and still feel that they are safe- those days are gone! I was super excited to be able to review the SafeChild Wristband, and get an idea on how that works to keep kids safe. First of all, my son loved it and thought it was cool. Kids love accessories of any kind, especially “watches”, and he thought he was pretty cool with it on. Bonus- not having to force your kids to wear it! It really easily syncs to your phone- took only a few seconds.
You can choose the whether to use an alarm or not, what sound or song you want for the alarm, and the distance you want to set the alarm to go off to. When your child goes out of the zone, your phone will alarm. It will also give you a map of where your child is- I love that- not only do you know that they are too far away, but you can use the map to find exactly where they are! You can have multiple wristbands connected to the same account, so you are able to keep track of each child. These are great for kids both young and old, and for everyday or special events. Think how awesome this would be to have an an amusement park? Especially if it’s busy- You try can keep super close to your child at all times, but there’s always the chance that they will get lost in the crowd! Now you will know immediately if they are too far away from you. It’s also great for using at the park or outside your home, for shopping (everyone has a story of how they got lost in a grocery store, am I wrong?), and is a GREAT idea for working parents driving their kids to daycare- we’ve all heard the stories of children being accidentally left in a hot car- we all want to take all necessary precautions to ensure that that doesn’t happen.
SafeChild Wristbands are an amazing way for all parents to make sure that their kids are safe at all times!

This is so important to me. My son has autism and they like to get out and wonder off. My son got out of the house and went missing. It was the longest 45 minutes of my life. We were lucky to find him. I would love this product to help me locate my son quickly if he got out of the house again. This could be life saving for us.

I love that it uses your phone to alarm you. This would be so great for my son. He has autism so he tends to wander to far without any concern over safety. So many kids with autism do wander off, they are called “runners” in the autism community. This watch would give me some peace of mind when we go place.
