“For children growing up in the 1990’s, Nickelodeon’s Floam and Gak were two of the coolest playtime staples, beloved for their uncanny ability to entertain kids for hours on end. Now, Nickelodeon’s Floam and Gak are back… and they’re better than ever!”
I remember playing with both Gak and Floam as a kid. I LOVED them both and had a blast with them. I was excited to introduce them to Bug.
“Completely reformulated to make playtime and clean-up a cinch for a new generation of families, new Nickelodeon Floam and Gak are two unique reusable compounds, each designed to encourage creative thinking and open-ended play:
• “New Nickelodeon Floam is an incredible, reusable molding compound. Mold, fold and roll new Nickelodeon Floam into any creation imaginable – the possibilities are endless!”
Bug has really been enjoying molding and creating things with his Floam. We got three packs so he has a lot to play with. The first time you open the Floam it is a little sticky and messy, but you just have to mix it all up so it’s even (like kneading dough). Then it is no longer sticky or messy. Each time you open it to play after that it stays mixed so you don’t have to worry about mixing it again. It keeps Bug entertained for long periods of time and he gets really creative with the things he makes.
• “New Nickelodeon Gak is a stretchy, squishy collectible compound. Gak can be squeezed, stretched, bubbled and more – once kids pick up Gak, they won’t want to put it down!”
Bug is also loving his Gak. His favorite thing is to blow bubbles in it using a straw. It also bounces, stretches and makes silly farting noises. Like the Floam the first time you open it you will want to mix it a little so it’s less slimy. But then it stays that way. It will stick to the container at first, but each time you play with it it sticks to the container less and less until it slips out easily. It is a HUGE hit with Bug and he already wants more colors!
