I received the Tiggly Words set for this review, all opinions are my own.
My girls have loved playing with their Tiggly products and couldn’t wait to try out the new Tiggly Words which are now available for purchase!
The Tiggly Words are perfect for ages 4-8 and Leah couldn’t wait to get started playing on the new Apps! Charlotte needed a bit of help since she doesn’t quite know her letters yet but she still had a lot of fun.
This fun new set comes with the letters A, E, I, O, U and also 3 fun apps to play. The Submarine game is all about spelling, Tiggly Tales is word building and Tiggly Doctor is about learning Vowels!
Tiggly Submarine was one of Charlotte’s favorite. She loved doing the underwater adventure!
“An underwater world of exploration and discovery awaits in Tiggly Submarine! A hungry octopus, a deep sea elevator, and vowel fish are just some of the hilarious characters you’ll meet in this app. In Tiggly Submarine you’ll learn simple words with short vowel sounds, spelling patterns and exploration.” (Tiggly website)
“Use your Tiggly Words toys to make new words by replacing the vowel in CVC (consonant, vowel, consonant) patterns. If the word has a meaning, its effect comes to life on the screen creating a world as big as your imagination! In Tiggly Tales you’ll learn CVC (consonant, vowel, consonant) patterns, short sounds, word building and storytelling” (Tiggly Website)
Time for a check up on your verbs! You are appointed to be the Tiggly Town Doctor, and your patients have every malady imaginable! Along with your Words toys, you will complete action verbs to alleviate your silly patients’ unexpected maladies.” (Tiggly Website)
“Designed for children aged 4-to-8 years old, Tiggly Words is the company’s first learning system for early literacy. Tiggly Words is a set of five vowel toys (a, e, i, o, u) designed by educators to
interact with Tiggly’s three new iPad apps: Tiggly Submarine, Tiggly Tales and Tiggly Doctor. Learning language skills is an exciting milestone for every child, and Tiggly Words focuses on
helping preschoolers recognize phonemes, construct sounds and learn words. “All of Tiggly’s learning systems are designed from the ground up based on the first principles of play and learning research,” said Dr. Azadeh Jamalian, Chief Learning Officer and Co-Founder of Tiggly. “We know physical play is an integral part of children’s development and with the launch of Tiggly Words, we now have three products that bring that physical play into children’s digital sandbox.” (Tiggly Press Release)
