My girls love to play with their dollhouse but sometimes they have a hard time sharing. Our current dollhouse isn’t super big so sometimes it’s a little squishy trying to play together. KidKraft sent us their new Uptown Dollhouse to review and my girls LOVE it!
I was really excited when we received this fun Uptown Dollhouse and my husband and I decided to surprise the girls with it! We set up a fun little treasure hunt around the house and the ending spot aka treasure was the dollhouse! I took pictures of different things around the house and the girls had to find those items then move on to the next picture! The last picture had them going downstairs in the basement to the playroom and discovering their hidden treasure the dollhouse! The girls new that something was up because my husband had been down there all morning with the door locked putting the dollhouse together and he did an awesome job!
The girls came around the corner opened the door to the playroom and their jaws hit the floor! They were both jumping up and down screaming with excitement! I couldn’t wait for them to start playing with it and boy did they play with it.
Leah and Charlotte were down in that playroom for several hours just playing and playing. They both really loved the working light on the side of the house, working elevator, toilet that really flushes and the keyboard that plays music! I love all of the details that KidKraft put into this fun dollhouse. The BBQ that the top really moves up and down, the salad bowl with plates, desk with computer and of course all the fun furniture! This dollhouse came with 35 pieces including a ceiling fan in one of the rooms! I also love that the pool can be moved to the front or back of the house. The girls decided to put it in the back so they wouldn’t have to lean over it to play in the dollhouse.
The girls usually will not go down to the playroom because it happens to be in the basement BUT now that the dollhouse is down there they go all the time! Charlotte will even ask me to turn the lights on and the other day she was down there for an hour just playing and playing!
