Valleyfair- A Minnesota Summer Must-Do! Have You Been Yet?

I received tickets in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.

Have you been to Valleyfair yet this season?

My family had the awesome opportunity to go opening weekend, and it was absolutely the best way ever to start out the summer season! As our boys get older, amusement parks just get more and more fun. I mean, don’t get me wrong, Valleyfair is a fabulous place for young kids too- Planet Snoopy is filled with just-right rides for young kids, and the waterpark is always a hit for any age, but older boys doing thrill-seeking rides with us is just SO FUN!

They were so excited to go! It’s definitely a must-do every summer, and the kids look forward to it all winter. (Isn’t that just the life of us Minnesotans? =) ) I was surprised this year how into the games they were- they’ve become obsessed with sports lately, and are getting more and more competitive, so they had a BLAST with all the carnival games. They both won basketballs and stuffed figures (Mario, of course) so they were pleased as punch.

A really fun family staycation idea would be to rent an RV from RV rental Minnesota and make a whole trip out of it.

All the rides were absolutely as fun as I remembered, and it was such a fun bonding day. Great to keep the phones in our pockets, play together, scream through rollercoasters together, enjoy good food, and just be a family having fun! We will definitely be back this summer. If you haven’t made it yet this year, what are you waiting for?

About Joanna

I am a mom to two sweet elementary-school boys named Harrison & Ruben. They are my greatest gift! I have a degree in Early Childhood Education, and my life revolves around little people- I work as a nanny as well as being a mom. We live in Minnesota, therefore we love summertime. =) Life consists of lots of books, walks in the woods, church, friends, grandparents, Minecraft, football and soccer, music, play-dates, wine (only some of us), love, kisses, and of course, blogging.
