What Bras to Include in Your Capsule Wardrobe

Capsule wardrobes are an excellent way to save time and money but also look amazing. The trouble is they take time to organize, and putting one together can be a tricky process. If you don’t know what underwear to include, read on and start thinking about your lifestyle habits.

T-Shirt Bra

Chances are your capsule wardrobe contains more than a few t-shirts; that’s because t-shirts are perfect for mixing and matching a range of colors and patterns; they are also perfect for laying your clothing so that you can get more outfits from fewer clothing items than a closet.

With that in mind, you need a t-shirt bra in your capsule wardrobe. A t-shirt bra is a smooth cup bra with minimal padding and straps; it can be worn comfortably every day and give your chest a smooth and casual appearance. T-shirt bars are best for everyday wear and offer comfort.

Lace Bra

If you are organizing a capsule wardrobe, a lace bra might not be a high priority; that’s because they are worn less often, usually on nights out or special occasions. However, if you don’t want to be without them entirely, always try to include one or two lace bras in your capsule wardrobe.

Unlike t-shirt bras, a balconette bra is designed for special occasions and meant to make you feel sexy and more beautiful; for this reason, they are finer and less discreet; they might also be a little less comfortable because they use a wire for support, but the match well with outfits.

Nude Bra

You want a bra that is comfortable and discreet, so you buy a plain white bra, but this bra stands out like a sore thumb whenever you wear some revealing clothing. The truth is white bras are useless for concealing your underwear when you go out; what you need is a skin tone bra type.

Nude bras are available in a full range of skin tones and are very effective at concealing your underwear on nights out or when you wear certain clothing to the office. It’s a good idea to include a nude bra in your capsule wardrobe, though again, you don’t need too many of them.

Plunge Bra

Creating an effective capsule wardrobe is all about understanding your personality and lifestyle. If you like comfort, then you want more t-shirt bras to hang out in, but if you go on nights out a lot or you wear revealing clothing, then you need to make decisions on your various bra options.

If you enjoy wearing low-cut dresses and tops, then you definitely want to include a plunge bra in your capsule wardrobe. A plunge bra has low cut V-shape in the center so that your chest is revealed without showing any signs of the bra support. Again, plunge bras depend on lifestyle.

Active Bra

No capsule wardrobe should be without an active bra – or maybe more if you like to work out two or three times a week. Active bras hold everything tightly in place and prevent any chafing when you’re on the treadmill. Active bras are mainly designed to be practical and comfortable.
