In case you didn’t know, ThinkFun has THE BEST GAMES! Our family has always been a HUGE fan. I mean, please tell me you’ve played Zingo? It’s amazing. I love, love, love how ThinkFun makes learning exciting for kids and gets the whole family involved with educational games. I was, of course, excited when I was asked to review two of their newest games- Balance Beans and Yoga Spinner.
Balance Beans was super fun- You pick a card that tells you which where to place some of the beans and which other ones you get to use, and then you try and balance out the beam. It’s a great reasoning game that is perfect for early math skills. They have easy cards all the way up to extremely hard- so if you think you’re brain isn’t going to get a workout as an adult, you’re wrong.
We also loved the Yoga Spinner game! I had never heard of anything like this before, and it’s genius! Great way to get kids to move their bodies, increase flexibility, all while playing a game. (A little competition never hurt anyone). My boys really loved it. It would be perfect for a inside rainy day or anytime kids need to get a little energy out and move their bodies!
Another thing I love about both of these games is that they store very compactly- always a plus when storage space is at a minimum!
Both of these games, along with basically anything ThinkFun makes are perfect gifts that are both fun and educational!
