We keep our computer and electronics in our living room so we can monitor our kids’ online activities. With 4 kids, I’m sure you can imagine that sometimes it gets pretty noisy with several games/music running at the same time. Recently I started having my kids wear headphones while they played their games and are listening to beats, and it has been fantastic! However, they were using adult headphones or ear buds and those aren’t idea for little kids. That’s why I was really excited about reviewing a pair of Children’s Bluetooth Headphones from Puro Sound Labs! Now my kids have headphones that are designed just for their ears!
“At Puro Sound Labs we’ve created the world’s only studio-grade Bluetooth headphone that puts the safety of your ears first. Our patent-pending volume-limiting and volume-monitoring mechanisms ensure you and your family will be enjoying your tunes well into the future. All this, while looking great and sounding fantastic.”
We all know most kids don’t have a sound filter. Sometimes I will walk into our living room not even able to hear myself think because the music is on too loud, but my kids don’t seem to be affected by it at all! I am constantly telling them to “Turn it down”! Not only is this just a comfort issue, but a health issue.
“For America’s youth, hearing loss is a growing epidemic. Today, one in five teens suffer from some form of hearing loss, a 31% increase since the mid-90s. The driving force of this growth is that 50% of teens and young adults age 12-35 are exposed to unsafe levels of sound from their personal music players. To put that in perspective, that amounts to roughly 1.1 billion teens and young adults
worldwide.
A loud television or computer game probably isn’t going to cause a problem with our kids’ hearing, but most kids grow up with some sort of music player and consequently, constant headphone use. The kids headphones from Puro Sound Labs aren’t just ordinary headphones…they are designed specifically to prevent the damage that can caused from noise–induced hearing loss! As parents, we make sure our kids are listening to appropriate music, but are we paying attention to HOW they listen to that music? It’s not something we think about, but it should be. Puro Sound Labs has done all the research for us…we just need to put the technology in our kids’ hands (or on their ears, shall I say).
Beyond the safety, these bluetooth headphones are simply fantastic. They look fantastic, provide quality sound, and fit my kids’ ears perfectly. We absolutely love the bluetooth availability that these headphones offer. No one likes messing with cord, but especially children. These headphones come with a charger but in the event that you need to use them when they aren’t charged, you can still put them to use because they can be used with a cord as well. All four of my kids find these safe headphones super comfortable and easy to use.
I imagine Santa is bringing a lot of iPods to a whole lot of kids this year…why don’t you tell him to bring a pair of Pure Sound Lab Bluetooth headphones along with it. In fact, tell him to bring a pair for the whole family!! Not only does Puro Sound Labs design volume limiting headphones for kids, they have some for adults as well. We aren’t immune to noise-induced hearing loss so we have to take care of ourselves too! Enjoy your music while knowing your protecting your hearing!!
